It is in a great location with restaurants; boulangeries; fromageries; even pharmacies everywhere. Steps from Anvers metro station, you can go anywhere and everywhere with ease if you have Hotel Gerando as your base. Look up and there she is, Sacré-Cœur. Walk up and enjoy the stores, the view and one of the most charming little pockets of Montmartre. Simply amazing. BUT what makes this hotel truly special is the staff and the top notch service they provide.

Good little hotel that met all our needs for a 2 night stay in Paris. Comfortable room and bed and breakfast was excellent value for money. Friendly helpful reception staff. Within walking distance of Gard du Nord and very happy with the local area.

Really enjoyed my stay! Easy 10-15 minute walk from Gare du Nord and just a few minutes from a metro stop. Several dining options within a few minutes walk. A 20 minute walk to Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre for incredible views of the city. Hotel room had body wash and shampoo, a hair dryer, a safe, hangers, AC, TV and an available iron to use upon request. No issues with our room at all. Hotel staff were all very friendly. Would recommend and will definitely stay here again!

The hotel was in the Monmartre neighborhood with lots of trendy bars, restaurants, and local amenities nearby. We went with our kids and it was easy to walk to 2 different Metro stations to get anywhere in Paris. Breakfast was solid but typical for Europe with breads, pastries, cheeses, meats and muesli. The only concern I would have is the elevator. It was not a problem for us but it requires being able to get up an initial flight of stairs to get in and it holds max 2 people. So if you have mobility problems, this is not the place for you. But overall we thought it was solid for the price, location and breakfast. And it is air conditioned!

False advertising! Website and Expedia page advertise Air Conditioning in every room. This is blatantly false as their AC has been broken for months. In the middle of a HEAT WAVE. They lied and said it will be fixed but it never was and other reviews make it clear this has been an on going issue for weeks if not months. Stay elsewhere during the hot summer months.

Old hotel in dire need of refurbishment like many hotels in Paris. You definitely get what you pay for which isn’t much. It was decent for the price paid, the room was clean though noisy if you stayed right next to the stairs. There is an elevator, which is great for older Parisian buildings, but had in the inconvenience of being in between floors so you still had to go up a flight of stairs to reach each floor. Wifi worked great.
