I stayed in this hotel in July 2017 for four nights. I was so impressed I decided to book again for 17 nights in 2018. Friendly staff, huge bathroom for a hotel. Very comfortable and cosy room facing the street. Breakfast was excellent. Happy to recommend it.
The staff at this hotel was very accommodating and friendly. Our room was nice and comfortable and the breakfast was good. The location is excellent as we could walk to Notre Dame and the Louvre. The one issue we had was that our room faced the street. We had to leave the window open at night to cool the room. However, the hotel is right across the street from a popular bistro so there was noise late into the night and again early in the morning. I highly recommend staying here, but be sure to request a room on the side away from the street.
It was our first trip to Paris and this hotel was wonderfully located, amazing staff (they really added to the comfortable feel of the hotel) and reasonably priced. We booked through the hotel directly and received free breakfast every morning. Which was fresh hot coffee served to you at your table, fresh pastries and eggs. It was a perfect way to start your morning before heading out for the days adventure. The hotel rooms are modest, beds are comfortable. The only thing I would change is the bathroom door. It was a wooden folding door that denied privacy. The hotel is perfectly located in the Latin quarters, great dining steps from your door...pastry shop, chocolate shop, pharmacy and the metro. We would stay here again!
The reception all staff were really heart warming and loved it so much, and the staff for breakfast also was good! but I could not get water or any amenities every day, so this is why I reviewed as 3.
As you turn left leaving the hotel, the beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg is a block away, as is the Place de l'Odeon, where the Comedie Francaise is located. If you turn right, the Carrefour de l'Odeon is a half-block away, crowded with cafes and restaurants, and the Metro stop is right there. There are book and print shops on rue de l'Odeon as well. Our room was small but comfortable, with beamed ceiling and sufficient lighting, even a TV, which we didn't watch, and a modern bathroom with tub/shower. An attractive, homey place!
Fantastic location in Paris! We have stayed in several hotels in the area., Odeon was wonderful. Usual small parisan rooms, but extremely comfortable. Historic building and rooms have been well decorated. Modern large bathroom. Step up to it, is a consideration for older travellers. Excellent full.. not continental .. but array of pastries , yogurt, eggs, fruit. A definite place to return.
The Odeon Hotel was so charming, the rooms were clean and were very authentic Paris. We loved, loved the location! A perfect place to stay in Paris!!!! Would definitely go back and stay at The Odeon Hotel again
The hotel is near the Odeon metro, very friendly staff, our room was on the six floor and we could see the top half of the Eiffel Tower, expecially at night when it’s sparkling with lights. We found our room very clean. We arrived around 12:00 noon and was told we could check in at 2:00 pm, we asked about a lobby bathroom and was told they did not have one,and that we should go down to a corner restaurant. During our stay we discovered they infact do have a restroom in the lobby.
We just had a long layover in Paris and used the time the best we could! The Odeon Hotel staff were amazing in helping us determine which sights to see in our short time and the best way to get there. The room was comfortable and gave us the flavor of the history of the city. We look forward to going back to Paris and staying to explore the city more. We will definitely stay at the Odeon Hotel next time we're there. The location is perfect for getting from the airport and around the city. The staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and comfortable and the price is reasonable!
The Odeon is perfectly located for easy walking to many of the major sites. The neighborhood is filled with lovely shops and wonderful cafes. The staff of the hotel are very helpful in answering questions and giving directions to the various parts of the city. Silvia and Nelson were both especially gracious and helpful during my entire stay.
