Week in Paris

The lovely house in Nation was perfect for a week in Paris. The house is very nicely furnished with all equipment needed. Location is great as it’s close to metro and RER station. The street has parking and has secure gates at each end. Great all round!

Perfect couple's Paris getaway

Great & clean little house. Well appointed. Very friendly and helpfull property manager. Perfect accommodations for a couple. Easy access to lots of brasseries or restaurants, shops, the metro, electric bicycles or even Uber. Loved it.

Beautiful place, great neighborhood

Very nice option to an apartment. This townhouse is multi-leveled which makes it perfect for adults traveling together as it provides three clearly distinct living areas. The neighborhood is safe and very well connected with four subway lines and one RER so easy to get anywhere in Paris. My only recommendation for those looking into booking is the stairs in the townhouse are a bit steep so likely not easy for people with limited mobility. Very recommendable. We had two lovely weeks at Martine's place!

Great location and perfect for two traveling friends.

Everything was great! The only issue was hot water. We ended up using a hot water kettle to keep the water warm. But I know this is a difference between America and Europe, and most certainly isn’t a reflection of this individual home. Everything about the rental was perfect and I would 100% stay there again in the fall, on my next trip.

Clean and comfortable

Our family enjoyed our stay at Martine’s rental property. The townhouse is well maintained and clean it very much lived up to our expectations based on the pictures provided. All of the essential appliances are available in the rental, which is definitely helpful when you want to do laundry or cook a meal. The location of the property is a mixed bag, on the one hand it is pretty far away(20-30+ min train ride) from major tourist attractions such as the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe, but it is well connected with to the transit system multiple train lines and buses are a short walk away. The biggest issue we had was with the hot water tank, it is very small, and for a group of three we had to be very conservative with our shower times. All in all we felt like we got excellent value for the price we paid.

Spotless, Comfy and Convenient!

It's a beautiful miniature townhouse on a gated street, about a 2 block walk from a convenient Metro stop (Nation, with 1, 2, 6, and 9). Each room is on a separate floor with basement pull out sofa/bed and washer/dryer (which was the best we've ever had in Europe), ground floor LR and kitchen, and upstairs bedroom and bath. The bed was VERY comfortable and everything was in great shape. We were careful not to wear shoes in the house, the floors are lovely. There are slippers provided but we brought our own. It was very cold the week we stayed in Paris but the townhouse was toasty. My only warning is that stairs are winding/narrow so I would not recommend for young children or any kind of mobility issues. Thank you Martine, for a wonderful stay!

Absolutely lovely!

This house is wonderful! It really is as lovely as the pictures make it out to be! Everything you could possibly need for your temporary "home away from home" is here. It was perfect for my adult daughter and I. We cooked most of meals ourselves due to my daughter's allergies, and everything we could need was available to us. The owner very kindly waited for us when we were delayed checking in, and gave us a quick tour of the neighborhood. It is a little far from the more touristy areas of Paris, but buses, the metro and the RER are only a couple of blocks away. We had a lovely time!

This apartment was truly delightful. It was the perfect location near a few restaurants and a grocery but off the beaten path. It has everything you need for exploring the sites of Paris. The location has families with children nearby and I enjoyed feeling safe and yet immersed in the local culture. Everything was just as pictured and my family loved every minute. My host was attentive to all communication and helped with anything I needed. Highly recommend if you want to feel truly immersed in Paris. I personally don’t like the hotel experience as it usually feels too impersonal and dry. This was my first Vrbo experience and it couldn’t have been more wonderful. 5 stars!

Wonderful family stay in the 12th!

Our family of four (kids 8 and 10) spent 7 days in this wonderful apartment. It's incredibly efficient, with everything we needed. Sparkling clean, located 2 minutes from the Metro with direct lines to all stops, a supermarket around the corner, and a Pharmacie one block away that provided the COVID-19 test we needed to return back to the US. We were out of the tourist fray and found wonderful local neighborhood restaurants and cafes all around us. Our children loved running out on their own to the patisseries - we always felt very safe. Martine was incredibly responsive at all times. It was a lovely trip, and we would highly recommend this apartment.

Great location and fantastic place!

We stayed at this lovely place for a week and were completely happy with our selection. The place is witihin minutes away from one of the larger metro stations and you can easily go wherever you want in Paris. I highly recommend the metro system in Paris. The place came with parking on a private street, which is normally nearly impossible to find, so if you are planning on renting a vehicle, this will be the perfect place. The place was spacious and clean. All the amenities you would need were present. We would definitely stay here again. Lots of good restaurants and bakeries close by. The place was quiet, good water pressure, and good internet. Highly recommend this place!

Excellent stay

We had an excellent stay at Martine's VRBO. She always responded quickly and met us at check in for a tour of the house and the neighborhood. The house is beautiful and is conveniently located right next to the Nation Metro station, which provided easy access to everything we wanted to visit. The apartment is spread over 3 floors: pull out couch and laundry in the basement, kitchen and livingroom on the ground floor, and master bedroom and bathroom on upper floor. Highly recommended.

Cozy & Creative

La Petite Maison is small and cozy and comes just as the photos show. Whoever designed the interior knew how to use every inch of space, and the art is unique and tasteful. In French, it is charmante. The bed was very comfortable (a concern for all of us) and the location in the 12th was excellent. We were away from the crowds but close to restaurants, boulangeries and a great Monoprix supermarket. Also a block away is the Place de la Nation where you can catch any of four Metro lines and an RER. We would certainly there again.

I (WE) stayed in the lovely little house again, (WE just left yesterday!) and was thoroughly pleased, again. Martine is good to work with, the house ie clean, lovely and has instructions for all the equipment. The washer/ dryer combo is the first that I have not pulled my hair out over ( that is huge). The neighbor hood feels safe, the heating system was perfect and easy to control. I almost didn’t write this because it is a gem and want to be able to access it when ever I would like a trip again in the future! ;). I am already scheming a trip in the future to stay here again!

Small Delight in Paris

The space is small, but very well put together. Our family of four was there for two weeks and while it was tight at times it was a delightful home base to explore the city. It's very close to to metro, RER, and bus lines. Anything you could want is in easy walking distance.

Preferences and an inconsiderate neighbor dissuade three individuals

Recommended with caveats. This charming three level residence almost sits in Place Nation. You are unlikely to fault the location's convenience. The residence seems to be part of a real estate co-operative with gated access streets and less than 5% commercial tenants. If you come with a car your will enjoy rare privilege. Mount two steps and enter an airy, tastefully decorated common room with a minimal but efficient cooking area to the side.. A couch here will sleep a child. A bed upstairs and a convertible sofa downstairs will sleep two each. We three sleep separately, one or another had to use the couch. The bath/wc is integrated into the upper bed chamber; this challenged our wish for individual privacy. We accept our fault for failing to recognize these facts. Unfortunately, during our month stay a cafe directly across the street hosted a very loud rock band until 23H30 one weekend and a private party until 02H00 on a mid-week night. C'est la vie.

Mon Petit Maison is a GEM!

My friend and I absolutely loved staying at Mon Petit Maison in Paris. The location (very close to the Nation metro stop) was excellent, as the neighbourhood was safe and we could be in the heart of Paris within 20 minutes (via the metro). The 3-level home is beautifully decorated, extremely clean and very comfortable. It is also unbelievably quiet as the street is not open to non-resident traffic. Martine and her team were an absolute pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend this VRBO!

Perfekter Stützpunkt für Paris

Das Apartment hat die perfekte Lage um Paris zu erkunden. Es liegt ruhig in einer Privatstraße, trotzdem ist die Metro in sämtliche Himmelsrichtungen in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war äußerst nett und unproblematisch. Auch der Check-Inn und Check-Out verlief reibungslos. Vielen Dank für den netten Aufenthalt.
