I stayed here twice in 6 months, it was PERFECT. Loved the location, felt safe, great restos near by.... an easy choice! The room was the perfect size, clean bathroom, dark at night, quiet... it was just right!
It was hard to find the hotel because the entrance is in a small open-gated area but once you find it it is well kept. The front staff is friendly and speaks english. The elevators are clean and small and so was my room. The room had good air conditioning, a small refrigerator in the lower cabinet near the door and plenty of counter space. The beds were comfortable with good lighting and there were many electrical outlets. The bathroom is small but with just the right amount of counter space to put your toiletries. The water pressure was great with plenty of hot water. Maid service was daily, however, just the minimum amount of towels are stocked in the room when we asked for more each day by writing a note for the maid to see. We found out that the maid could not read english writing. There is no laundry service at all at this hotel. We were told that there was a laundry mat a few blocks away from the front office staff. :( The hotel is just a few minutes walk to the metro and there is an indoor mall nearby with a small grocery store to stock up on food and drinks. There are also plenty of eateries such as Subway, KFC, McDonald's, and a few outdoor cafes that are reasonably priced.
This attractive hotel is surrounded by several small gardens. The staff spoke good English and handled questions and problems well. The breakfast was excellent value. There was a very attractive courtyard where breakfast could be eaten in good weather. My room was clean and comfortable. I liked the Place DÍtalie area - it felt safer than some areas of Paris and there were good restaurants, a supermarket and many shops nearby. There seemed to be regular markets in a nearby street. Altogether, I thought the hotel was very good value and I will certainly stay there again on my next trip to Paris.
My Fiancé and I spent a lovely weekend at this hotel. It was easy to get to from the Metro, and in a quiet part of Paris, with cafe/bars close by. We found the staff friendly & welcoming, the rooms were lovely, although not the biggest, they were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty of choice, especially nice being able to sit out in the courtyard. I would stay here again without a doubt.
Went to Paris for a long weekend and stayed at this hotel. Went to our room to unpack, and unfortunately was not ready. Went back to reception, and their response was very quick and positive. Upgraded us to one of their Privilege Rooms with a free mini bar ( soft drinks) Did not expect that with a view of the Eiffel Tower as well. Triple whammy, we could not of asked for anything more. Would like to have given them four and a half stars, not sure how you do that. However would have been 5 stars if not for the wifi. I did not find it powerful enough. We did feed this back to the team and they took it in the right spirit and said we should have pestered them. How good is that. Thanks for the way you looked after us.
We recently had a long weekend in Paris and opted to stay a little further out of the main city centre. This hotel is 20 minutes Metro ride from the centre of Paris and a short walk from place d'Italie Metro station (5 mins). For that you get a good size room not like some in the city centre where you can bearly swing a cat in. It was very clean and tidy and the staff very helpful. For instance, we had brought the wrong adapter to charge our phones and they had one which we borrowed. Breakfast was pretty good doing the normal Continental breakfast and also small French sausages, scrambled eggs and chopped smoked bacon. Coffee at breakfast came as a Nespresso machine and was excellent. Various types of tea and juices. The air conditioning in the room was very welcome as was hot on our short break. The bathroom and shower were very good and well maintained. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.
The room was A LOT smaller than I expected. The staff was friendly. For one night it was good enough. The hotel did not look as nice as what was featured in the pictures. Free wifi. No breakfast included with my stay.
The hotel resides on a small and quiet street but still very close to nice bistros and cafes at Place d'Italy. About 10 mins walk north via Gobelins street brings you to a very nice walking area with a lot of small cafes, bars, shops etc. The hotel itself is simple without too many facilities like bar or restaurant, which we were not even expecting. Our room on top floor had good view to Eiffel and it was clean and adequate size. Nice experience!
The hotel is not fancy but it is good for the money. It is extremely close to the Metro. It is easy to navigate Paris once you figure out the Metro system. The hotel staff are extremely helpful, especially the young woman with the blond hair and glasses. She spoke English very well and assisted us with all our requests. The room was average size for European standards, and the bed was comfortable. The room has a small fridge, a kettle and a good supply of coffee and tea. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping close by. I would recommend choosing this hotel.
Dirty smelly carpet; cleaning people will enter twice even after being told no then you'll receive a loud phone call to ask you again if you want your room cleaned after repeatedly saying no. The towels have strange stains. The bed is hard as a rock.
