I felt like I was stepping into the movie Amelie. Decorated in bright colors with large beautiful windows, the hotel is quite comfortable, and is super close to the cafe from Amelie. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The little courtyard is adorable, and the staff very kindly lent us plates and silverware for an impromptu picnic at one of the tables.
This hotel came highly recommended to us and did not disappoint. We had booked direct with the hotel a superior room and received a superb rate. You are in the delightful and historic artist area of Montmartre with Sacre Couer a few minutes away. Round the corner is the famous location of Cafe 2 Moulins used in the film ‘Amelie’. Anyway back to the hotel. Small, beautiful and perfectly formed. Staff who are helpful and extremely efficient. You have total peace and quiet in the hotel with no traffic, plumbing or guest disturbances at anytime day or night. Our room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom a joy. Perfect!
Service from the staff was excellent, extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome. The room was just the right size, very clean and very cosey. The location was perfect, so many nice places to eat, drink and just overall sightseeing. My only negative point would be the lack of UK TV channels, they had BBC world channel but unfortunately that didn't work so I had to settle for CNN report about Trump 24/7. I would definately stay here again.
This is a nice, clean and charming hotel in a beautiful part of Montmartre. Near 2 metro stations and lots of great restaurants and bars. The hotel is clean and well kept. The staff are helpful and kind. The rooms are as you would expect in a cheapish hotel in Paris - not particularly large but not too tiny. I would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff and in a wonderful location in the best part of Montmartre (near lots of great restaurants and shops but not too many tourists!). We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and would highly recommend it to others.
We have just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel and would definitely come back again. Our room was comfortable and clean, ideal for a short stay. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is down a side street, very quiet, yet only a few minutes walk to the nearest metro to connect with the rest of the city. Montmartre is a charming area of Paris, full of character with an abundance of places to eat and drink. WiFi is provided free of charge.
We enjoyed the stay as a couple very much, I recommend the upper and bigger rooms. Its old, therefore you don’t have the comfort of a completely new building, but you can’t have the charm in a new one:) The rooms are cozy, overall quite, Minibar and modern TV, IPod-Box etc. The staff is very friendly and it was very clean. Breakfast is good! The area is lively and with a lot of shops all around the clock. Montmartre is on a little hill, you can walk around easy, but some stairs and uphill-streets have to be expected. I would always stay here again!
We decided to spend Christmas in Paris and hoped for a charming room in an intimate hotel, in a great location. We got this and more at the reasonably priced Le Relais Montmartre, and would return there anytime! The rooms are cozy but not too small, and we had lovely French windows overlooking the quiet street below. Everything was sparkling clean, and the comfortable bed with its crisp sheets was really welcome after hours of walking (and wine tasting). A little bonus was the 'cadeau' of chocolates waiting in our room, courtesy of Papa Noel. There are plenty of quaint restaurants and bistros in the immediate vicinity of the hotel; it is also an easy walk to the Place de L'Opera, where nearby department stores, like Galeries Lafayette, had amazing animated holiday window displays that mesmerized crowds of scarf-bundled adults and children. Sacre-Coeur is just up the hill from Le Relais Montmartre and offers loads of opportunities to listen to street musicians, watch artists and enjoy a little Parisian kitsch. We would recommend this hotel for all reasons, in all seasons!
Great hotel. Comfortable and near attractions. Excellent beds. Lovely breakfast although this is an additional 15euros. Good base near Metro with good connections to rest of Paris. Gare de Norte 3 stops away for Eurostar passengers.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would return there. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean, it was also very quiet. Montmartre is a charming part of Paris and full of character.
