Perfect hotel...perfect neighborhood...beautiful rooms...fair value...parking is challenging but not impossible. Make sure you don't park in the front of the hotel for too long...these side streets are difficult and many areas are restricted however, overall I absolutely love this place. Highly recommend.
Very nicely decorated and clean room in a great location close to a metro stop. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room size was larger than others in which we have previously stayed in Paris. The air-conditioning worked well and the room was quiet.
This is a lovely hotel in a area bordering a very functional residential area and a quai-red light district. Rest assured, the hotel is quiet and safe. We stayed here for 5 nights after a business trip and we could not be happier. The decoration is rustic and yet modern. Amenities are all there. Housekeep is first rate. Three staff members we interacted all spoke good English and super helpful. They gave me great recommendations of local restaurants, fixed the room electric outlet and network that faulted, and helped us with transportation. The size of the room we had was on the smaller side, but in-line with other establishments in European big cities. There are two metro lines near by. If you have a lot of luggage, you would better hail a taxi or Uber here or you will face a uphill or stairs from either one of the stations. Moulin Rouge is only 5 minutes away, making this a perfect place to stay if you watch a late-night show. Sacré-Cœur is 15 minutes walk. You got the best of two worlds....
Set in the midst of the "village" of Montmartre, this is a lovely hotel, quiet, clean and very comfortable. The locality is full of small restaurants, cafes, speciality shops and traditional French cafe society. It is easy to get to the Metro and connect up with the city. Well recommended.
Had one last night here in a superior room after a long train tour in Italy. Chose the hotel as we have been to Montmartre before many times but its always been busy. The idea was eat here and then see the place early morning before the hordes arrive! It worked!!! It's more like the village it was 100 years ago. You get a lovely feel for the place when a handful of people are around at 9 in the morning. Great having breakfast outside watching the world go by. The hotel is wonderful. Staff very friendly and room was very good and very clean. Staff kindly extended check out till 1pm so we could have the morning exploring before early afternoon Eurostar home. We spent the morning looking around the Museum of Montmartre which was great. An exhibition of Old Montmartre was on which was very good. Would stay in hotel again
In the heart of Montmartre, less than 5 minutes walk from Blanche Metro station. The hotel itself is very pretty. Clean and very comfortable rooms. Small (as many Paris Hotels room are), yet perfectly formed. Considering it's location, just off a very busy street full of bars and cafes, it was very quiet. There is a small courtyard at the back of the hotel, for guests to relax and enjoy a coffee. The only sound you can hear is the birds. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Anwar in particular, helped us to book our trip to Versailles and gave us good advise about getting there and making the most of our day.. Over the road from Blanche Metro is the Moulin Rouge. Not our cup of tea but iconic and a popular tourist attraction. Also just 15 minutes walk (uphill) to Sacre-Couer which is a must in itself, and from which there are views across the city of Paris. We took a 2 day pass for one of the Hop On-Hop Off buses. There is so much to see and do in Paris, this was invaluable to us. The company we went with had 5 routes, each touring different parts of the city. Again the hotel staff helped us with this, and the nearest bus stop is right next to the Blanch Metro station. We walked into the City on the second day. Took us 25 minutes to walk to Madeleine, where we hopped on the bus that takes you to most of the main attractions.
Greit price / quality ratio. Staff was very nice - rooms small but clean and cosy. Zero noice from other rooms. and location is petfect with Montmarte and Pigalle around the corner with affordable restaurants all around.
This hotel is an absolute gem! We booked it for a special Wedding Anniversary trip, and we couldn't have chosen better. From the moment we walked through the door we were charmed by the decor, and warmly welcomed by the staff. Our room was beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and very comfortable. We had windows overlooking the courtyard, which meant that we could have them open but it was still quiet. Breakfast is fabulous, the setting is pretty, and the selection was huge. The 'breakfast ladies' are lovely and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is perfectly located, close to the Metro station and lots of bus stops (we found the bus system in Paris extremely easy to use and less tiring that the Metro), close enough to be able to explore everywhere that we wanted. The fact that it is located in a quiet road means that it actually feels as though you are staying in a peaceful village, and if you walk up the hill there are loads of lovely places to eat without needing to go down to the busier and more 'touristy' area surrounding the Moulin Rouge. We are so glad that we chose this hotel, having already decided that we would like to return to Paris, we very much hope to be able to stay there again.
We stayed 4 nights in a comfort room, and it was amazing. Great bedding, bathroom was excellent, and the AC was nice and cold. Hotel staff were excellent, accommodating and helpful. I wouldn't necessarily recommend taking breakfast at the hotel, it's not great, especially when compared to what you can get just a block away - the neighbourhood is full of excellent cafes and restaurants and the hotel is only a few minutes walk from the Blanche metro stop. Overall we highly recommend staying here, and I expect this will be our hotel of choice for our next visit to Montmartre.
recommend to any one that wants to stay in paris location stay excellent , food ,weather , hotel ,comfort all the best you could ask for staying in a town in a city , staff could not do any more for us and our stay
