Good breakfast however attempt to have coffee available at end of your hall was a bust as machine was out of order 4 of the 5 days I was there!

Most of the hotel staff were very friendly, the hotel is walking distance to the train station. There are some good restaurants within walking distance, and it's a nice hotel. My favorite part was the bedding, I want to buy their pillows! We ate in the restaurant at the hotel, and the cheese plate was amazing!

Stayed at the hotel for work. Location was great and I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel was peaceful and quiet despite the large number of guests and the size of the hotel.

I spent great time in the hotel and surrounding restaurants and attractions.

It's a nice hotel, room is small and not centrally located. Need to walk, take ca or metro to get to main attractions. Good thing there is a starbucks across the street. Next time lookimg for something centrally located. too expensive to be so far away from main sites

Wonderful location but super expensive. Staff was so polite and spoke excellent English. It was very clean and offered tours, transportation etc. Overall the experience was excellent! A caution - when buying vacation packages including this hotel, be careful about the free internet - there is no free internet and usage is VERY expensive.

Good location on right bank, near metro stop. Very helpful and friendly staff, particularly those at the Concierge desk. Fairly large hotel, not a quaint French spot. All in all would recommend.

Easy way to get to Excellent location Some renewal needed in the rooms, attitude of some of the restaurant waiters, was below the Paris service. Reception, very good Internet Access expensive

This hotel is located in a great location. The metro is not far from this hotel. The French metro makes it easy to navigate Paris and the outskirts of Paris. I loved the signature fragrance of the hotel...LM01! I bought the last large candle available to take home. As a treat, my son and I had the buffet breakfast at the hotel. Although pricey at 28 euros, there was a great variety. My son and I truly enjoyed it. Everything was fresh...fruit, juices, bread, yogurt, cheese and bottled water.

I enjoyed my stay in Paris! This hotel was close to the Metro which gave easy access to all major attractions. There were restaurants nearby and a mall across the street. Everything was very convenient. The Concierge desk was extremely helpful with any and all questions, directions, excursion bookings, money exchange, etc. They even printed off my boarding passes when I was about to check out. I would definelty recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

we had a great time in Paris and the hotel was great. I didn't give perfect marks because there is always room for improvement. A few things to take note....the gym is down the street. You have to pay to view the tv (who wants or has time to watch the tube when your in Paris), be careful where you sit in the night club...the side closer to the door, you can enjoy the music but are not charged for the show...sitting on the other side of the bar, we paid $45 ea for one drink! Big gulp! We like the location because it was so close to neighborhood non tourist restaurants. The Metro is right there and a convenient way to get around town. Rooms are small but if you're organized you won't be tripping over each other. It's Europe! They don't have enormous rooms like USA.

I asked for sombody to come and clean the room(for service). they came 4:30 PM!! It happened next day too. And the reason was that my room was at the end of hall!! Asked somebody fix the temprature of room . Nobody showed up! Location was good and comfy for every where.

comfortable room, convenient location, nice smell.

good location, metro access on the corner.

This hotel was gorgeous. I'm not used to staying in classy fancy accommodations. the only slightly annoying thing was the housekeeping was really intent on cleaning our room so we would often get knocks or phone calls while we were trying to sleep in late. but that may have been our fault for being the only couple in paris that wanted to sleep until noon. the people all spoke many languages and were lovely.

Le Meridien hotel was better than I expected. We arrived at the hotel around 10:00 am and the check-in is at 3:00 pm, so we weren't expecting a room at that time. But because I am a Starwood member they found a room for us right away on the 5th floor. The young lady at the front desk "[...]" was very helpful and accommodating to our needs and questions. The room was very clean and very nice. The room was spacious - we had a desk, a king size bed, a chair, and a small table. Bed, pillows, and linens were comfortable with a good size TV. As travelers, we did not want to see news, which was what was mostly on the English speaking channels - CNN, Bloomberg, British news, etc. The only other English channel was the cartoon network. Mini bar was expensive and computer monitored. Don't touch it - you will be charged. Internet was expensive, as we are accustomed to free internet with our rooms. Bathroom was modern and sleek. We loved the scent of the toiletries. I am a light sleeper and was pleasantly surprised that I couldn't hear the street noise. The hotel itself is in the La Defense business district, about a 15-20 minute walk to the Arc of the Triumph. It is right off of the "Av. de la Grande Armee" which turns into the "Avenue Des Champs Elysees", where the whole street is all shopping/restaurants, etc. It is also an easy metro trip to the center. This hotel is also across from a shopping center with high end designer stores and a great grocery market in the lower level of the shopping center. Overall we were satisfied with our choice and we recommend it.

Great rate for April (200US plus taxes) located across the street from an Air France bus stop for those prefering a cheap ride into town. Porte Maillot just a block away with several metro, RER and bus lines intersecting there. Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysee about 15 min walk.

Great location. Air France cars stop right in front of hotel. Rooms need updating. Nice modern lobby

This hotel was very nice. It was clean and modern. [...] Overall, friendly staff, great hotel [...].

When we checked in, our receptionist was excellent. We received a double upgrade and despite us being unable to speak french, she was very courteous and forthcoming. The room was exactly as described in the website. It was a magnificent example of modern design. The lobby, like the room, was amazing. The beds, and cushions were very soft and comfortable. Minor complaints: (1) The view, if anything, was not the best, but to be fair, we did not care. (2) The bathroom does not lock, its a simple slide in and out. With the thin walls, it can be "uncomfortable" (3) The bath stall only had half the glass. This may be french custom (I am not sure), but it was just a little odd. Over all, the minor discomforts were minor compared to being in the location, and dealing with the pleasantness of being where I was. On a side note: I believe Uma Thurman checked in the same time as us. If I am right about Uma Thurman, if its good enough for Uma Thurman, it is good enough for me.
