First, hotel is located one metro stop from CDG Airport so that makes it very convenient to get to the airport as well as into the city. Be double sure that you are riding the correct metro because the express line does not stop at Nations. Hotel is a short walk (a few minutes from the station. Hotel is relative clean. As expected, the staff are just acceptable (not as firendly as those in the US). Breakfast is overpriced (16 Euros) but there is a less expensive continental breakfast option next door.
This hotel, located walking distance from the exhibition centre is suitable only for business. Don't go here for a holiday, they have nothing to make the stay a holiday. The hotel is perfectly functional, with free wifi, a restaurant and bar. The restaurant offers a basic selection of dishes, most of which are quite nice. The wine list is ok, with prices from reasonable to expensive. They don't offer a laundry service, and there does not appear to be a laundromat nearby. No TV stations in English. The executive floor has a bar fridge and coffee machine in the common areas with complimentary soft drinks and coffee. No bar fridge in the rooms. Windows open in all rooms, onto car parks front and back. There are a number of other hotels and restaurants in walking distance, as is the train station in RER line B. Only one stop from CDG Airport. 40 minutes from St. Michael - Notre Dame station, which is walking distance from The Louvre, Norte Dame and The Siene. This hotel has reasonable rates when there is no exhibitions on, but exorbitant rates when their is an exhibition on.
In this region it is better to book well in advance. Unfortunately our work schedule didn't allow for this. I reserved online in advance for 178 per night , but I eventually payed 200 per night. (No breakfast, 2,78 euro tax). Beware that at the frontdesk they charged my colleague no less than 280 per night. (During events in the parc des expositions, prizes rise to almost 400 euro a night) Breakfast is not included. And they did not ask/book breakfast for my colleague who was treated like a criminal a few mornings after. He was plucked from his chair while we were having breakfast and escorted to the desk were they required immediate payment. All this happened in an unfriendly and very aggressive way. . About the hotel itself: It is a pretty clean, quiet place. The staff is rude however. The room was just big enough to sleep and organise work for the next day. Tea/coffee and cooker were all available. The bathroom is of good quality and well cleaned. However, my daily note asking for no room cleaning and leaving the towels unchanged was ignored every day. . Considering the rude staff and the very high price I would not ever come back to this place, nor recommand anyone to go there. I have been treated better in filthy roadside F1type hotels than here at the Kyriad.
The world's worst hotel Let's just start with the mound of black hairs smeared across the bathroom walls, the ridiculous pillows which have about 3 feathers in them and the fact that Netflix.com and Amazon prime are blocked. This is obviously a hotel for business related matters, God I hope I never have to stay here for a holiday, and Netflix is blocked. When I called down to reception to ask about the situation, Jennifer told this is not the case and she is unaware of any blocked sites. After trying unsuccessfully for another 30 mins I ask to speak to a manager, whom apparently does not exist until Monday, until then there is no one responsible (it's Friday afternoon). The worst part is that it is only 7:30 and I haven't even slept here yet. I have never been so badly received as I have in this hotel.
Arrived at the Hotel quite late in the evening, and allowed to check in and retreat to the room. The restaurant had closed at this stage and nor was the bar opened. The room itself was of good standard with working heating, a very clean bathroom apart from a very ample sized mini bar which had enough for one cup of tea!!! Non the less the bed was too comfortable to the point I couldn't sleep and the TV only had french programmes. The location of the hotel was in close proximity to the venue however quite far away from the City and any local shops which was a shame, however that shoudn't de-grade the hotel as the hotel felt extremely comfortable and it was very quiet.
My 2nd stay after a year. Who knew I'd come back again since my last review. However, due to a trade show, there weren't many options left and staying in the city would be a bit far to travel back and forth everyday on the train with expected rush hour. Available was Premiere Class hotel right next door or Kyriad. Reviews and pictures of Premiere were not appealing, so settled for Kyriad. This time I knew what to expect before I went which made my stay a little better than before due to: -I bought myself a local sim card for data which made me hassle free of wifi/internet. You can buy this at the airport. - Because of the data sim, I used Uber to travel the vicinity and for food. Once you familiarize yourself with the train network, going to Paris by RER is not bad, about 40 mins. Hotel reception were hospitable. Hotel restaurant food was okay, only ate once. Breakfast was pretty good. Annoyances were poor wifi (using for my other devices), and no mini fridge! No way to keep food or drink.
Good enough to stay short period, is was proper and well only they breakfast was bad to expensive for what you get... Dinner in the restaurant was very expensive for the food you get! They give only 2 small pieces of bread in front even when it's empty they will not bring more
