The hotel is on the premises of an exhibition centre with access to a motorway only. After 10 pm, it is inaccessible from the local train or bus station as all the gates to the exhibition centre are locked. Even during daytime when there is no exhibition, one must ask guards to get access to a railway subway to get out of there. The room is ok for the price and the area, most other hotels are 20€ more, however, for 50€ a night, you get a shared and dirty shower full of someone's hair, towels only at an extra charge, no soap in the room... There is noise from the nearby motorway. At least the linen is clean, which can hardly be said about the floor in the room,.
We booked this hotel last minute as we needed to to visit the hospital where a family member had taken ill in CDG. Yes the rooms are basic but they were clean, the toilets/showers were not en suites they were shared and these where also clean. The staff were fantastically friendly, even took us to the hospital! Thanks Kieto The breakfast was ok bread jams cereals coffee tea nothing flashy but adequate. No regrets from us staying here, we left early as we had to go somewhere but we would have no worries to stay here again. Merci
A room, with linens changed. Sure the place is not top notch, 100% clean, the toilet and bathroom, probably not suitable if you do long stay, but we had nothing to complaint. Staff are friendly and it's close to the airport and train station (walking would be troublesome, i'd recommend taking a cab or if you've got a car that's good)
To have a car it’s a must, otherwise reaching at the hotel it’s impossible (specially night time) Room was somehow ok when we first entered, but night time was way to hot inside and if you open the window you hear the motorway noise, plus a lot of insects are coming inside Morning time was a nightmare! the housekeeper was slamming all the doors, witch was really disturbing You have to share the Toilets and the showers (they are not clean) If you want some romantic nights, forget it!!
On arrival, I have to say that the young man at reception was very helpful and friendly. He immediately honoured my request for a ground floor room, but had I realised it was a smoking room (despite the no smoking sign on the door) we would have reconsidered as the room absolutely stank of stale smoke. I don't think we would have noticed the difference of our bed had had no mattress at all, as it is so thin that it's like trying to sleep on a plank of wood. Extremely uncomfortable. The room was dirty, as if it had never been cleaned. The first bathroom my wife went in had actual human poo smeared on the wall, and the others had obviously not been cleaned recently. We were disappointed that we had to make up the bunk bed ourselves, even though we had booked for three people. The night manager woke us by knocking on the window at 2am to tell us (although he spoke no English, we got the message) that someone could reach in and steal our things if we didn't close it, so we did consider that helpful. The outside lawn is covered in cigarette butts and general litter. Overall, the place needs far more thorough and regular cleaning and better mattresses. I realise it's a cheap place to stay, but a comfortable bed in a clean room is surely a basic and minimum requirement. We wouldn't stay here again, or in fact at any F1 as even at the clean ones the mattresses are too thin. We'll stick with Premiere Classe or Ibis Budget, where you get better beds, a cleaner hotel and your own bathroom.
We arrived at 2:30 am at the hotel after a long drive hoping to find a good place to sleep and maybe stay longer. Unfortunately, that is not what we found at room 119 of the F1 hotel. After finding a badly cleaned room filled with not only dust, smudges and spiderwebs we didn’t dare to use the bathing or toilet facilities which where in a even worse state. The bedding more closely resembles a wooden plate then a mattress. At 6 am there was a lot of noise in the hotel hallways with screaming people which lasted for about an hour. In summary, our stay was a terrible experience and unfortunately, our timing didn’t really give us any other options. We paid € 40,88 for an experience of 6 terrible hours. After waiting 3 weeks for a response and multiple messages that they will soon react we didn't receive a response on our messages.
On arrival, the hotel had lost our booking (4 people for 5 days), which, had we seen the rooms, we would have taken as the perfect opportunity to run a mile. Regrettably, however, we spent nearly an hour waiting while the receptionist tried to rebook everyone. Rooms are basic with a bunk bed, sink, little table & chair and a TV. The mattress is about 5cm thin, the bedding was torn with burn marks. The unisex toilets and showers are on the corridor and cleaned at around 2am. You can only imagine what hideous state they are in by 8-9 am. I am convinced that the sinks in the room are used for more than just brushing of teeth.. You have to buy your own towel for 3 Euros. Excellently, you have a choice of 4 colours. There are 3 floors, I think only the top floor is non-smoking, but the whole place smells of smoke. It is noisy, you can hear the people next door and there is traffic noise from outside. The staff is disinterested and aloof. Breakfast consists of baguette and jam, which you can enjoy in the cramped reception room. Thankfully, the Ibis next door offers a really nice breakfast buffet for 10 Euros. We also had dinner there every night, as there is nothing else in walking distance. Villepinte Expo train station is a brisk 15 minute walk away, when the underpass to the exhibition complex is open. In summary, if you are used to staying in a tent, then this motel will be a step up. If you want a clean, cosy and friendly hotel, then avoid at all costs. Please don't stay here, I beg you.
I was working an exhibition at Parc des Expositions and this place is only a 10 minute walk away. It beats the heck out of traveling every morning and evening on the busy train or paying for a taxi from downtown Paris. However, if you are willing to splurge on a €42.00 one way Uber trip from Paris, then this is not the place for you. From what I saw, there is little to see or do around the hotel and restaurant choices are limited. The hotel has a good restaurant inside with very good food and also a nice little bar. The internet was good and free. The front desk staff could have been a bit more cheerful, but they were not rude. Since I was mostly working and not playing, I thought my choice was a good one. The price was excellent! Just over a $100.00 USD, but don't expect a huge room with a huge bath and shower. My motor home has a larger shower than my hotel room. The place is clean and safe and I would recommend any business person to stay here strictly for the convenience.
We were attending the Food Ingredient Europe 2015 exhibition and decided to go last minute (but very last minute). We flew to Paris and we had not booked a hotel, so we ended up looking for something close to the exhibition centre and this was the only hotel available. It was my first F1 hotel experience so it is difficult to assess against other hotels.
A friendly welcome from the staff, adequate secure parking, restaurant at IBIS hotel only a short walk. Noisy on night one and some showers not functioning. It is however a basic no frills clean hotel that has friendly staff at a very cheap price - very convenient for the exhibition centre. Wifi unuseable - very poor A general smell of smoke through the hotel (not unusual in France) - if you are non-smoking then consider spending more on a quality hotel.
