It’s unacceptable that a customer is informed that his booking is not feasible at the day of the stay, especially given the fact that booking was done 3 weeks ago. As consequence, I was forced to book another room and split the family. To make it worse, I suggested that I could book two smaller rooms, thus paying the difference to the largest and more expensive family room. To my surprise and astonishment, the receptionist did not accept my request. And my free drink for being a silver member was not even offered. The room had several problems like the shower drain was somehow clogged, and the bathroom got all flooded!!!! Lastly, breakfast service was really below average, and a particular employee was particularly impolite with some guests. Terrible experience!
Bad experience considering the price I paid... 250€ for 1 night + breakfast: toilet dirty, room uncomfortable & dirty, overall an unpleasant hotel, located in the middle of no where...Staff inexperienced and not supportive (I had to wait for 30 to get a cab). Breakfast low quality. Will definitively not come back!
Unfortunately not a good experience at this hotel. The air-conditioning was not working when we got there. The staff are not as positive as I have experienced in the past with Accor. Difficult to get the lift in the morning as the staff are hogging them. Ordered a double with single bed only to find it is exactly the same size as a double room. Ended up getting an extra room both nights because of this. Parking was not good. Hotel too crowded. Could not get a table at the restaurant on the second night as fully booked. Disappointed.
Hotel staff at check in were great . But the food staff did not seem to care we were there. Had to keep popping in to ask for service. Has great grounds perfect to walk your dog and opposite the entrance to park expose where they hold the dog show . Room fabulous clean great for dogs families. But the bed linen was stained :(
The hotel is an average IBIS with a restaurant on the ground floor, but too difficult to reach. It is a good 10 minutes walk from the Metro Station, with no shuttle service, even in the busy days of exhibition. But what is more unaccepable is the fact that you have to drag your trolleys and bags on a muddy path to access the hotel: how much would it cost to make a concrete or gravel trottoir? No, sirs, this is not ok
The hotel in general is ok, I can't complain but if you are planning to stay here while visiting Paris, be prepared for a long commute. The hotel is far from Paris and also far from the nearest metro station, you will need to walk for about 20 minutes to reach the Villepinte station. My advice if staying here best have a car or make arrangements for pick up and drop off. If you are coming from the airport do not take the metro, take a cab.
this hotel is close to the convention center and hat is its only real redeeming feature. You can walk to the convention area in 5 to 10 minutes. the rooms were redone as well as the reception and restaurant. The stairwell remains the same with well worn out carpeting. The place now has a more relaxed feel without the formal reception. The restaurant is a big improvement over the previous food are but that was not too hard to better. All in all its a good location for the convention and stay-able for a day or two. The breakfast is fine and has all the usual foods including yogurts, coffee fruit cheese and meats.
The hotel has very small rooms, and very poor equipment. Only 1 restaurant with very long waiting time for dinner and even for the bar. Poor wifi connection. The only good point is the position very close to the exhibition centre.
I would recommend that you be very wary about staying at this hotel if you are arriving late at night. We had a very unfortunate incident with them. We had told the hotel we were arriving late. Unfortunately Eurostar was delayed . We emailed again at 6.30 and received a confirmation that the room was going to be reserved. Arriving at 12.15 at night the first thing the receptionist told us was that we were at the wrong hotel and we should have been at the 'other' Ibis in town. I think he was just trying to get rid of us. We knew the hotel was the right one. He then told us that our room had been given away to someone else at 6.00. ( as stated, we had been told at 6.30 that the room was going to be reserved for us). We were two women of 63 and 37. The receptionist just kept saying it wasn't his fault. As the 63 year old, I managed to eventually sleep in a double bed with a young friend in another hotel. My daughter slept behind a settee on the floor of that lobby. The hotel denies all responsibility for this mistake. Booking dot com have said we will get recompense from the hotel, and we have two emails to prove it. Unfortunately the hotel has not given the recompense expected. We have used this hotel three times now. We think it is the best in the area but were devastated by our treatment. On a positive note: for the rest of our stay the restaurant staff were brilliant. I wish the hotel staff had been. If they don't give us the promised recompense I will not be using them ever again.
If you are in transit and you need one night, the hotel is great. Or if you are attending an exhibition, also great because the hotel is very very close to the exhibition center. Is 5 min walk and 15 min to the airport. But if you have other raisons to stay here I would not recommend. The hotel is very far from the center of Paris. There is no public transportation, only taxi or Uber and is very expensive. It's 1h drive to the center. There are no stores, not even a mini-market anywhere near. The room was clean. Breakfast was good and food had variety. Friendly staff, but they barely speaking out english. In the restaurant and at reception. The restaurant downstairs was very disappointing. The staff barely speaks english. Not to many choices to eat at this restaurant. The food is ok, nothing wow.
