My wife and I are at a loss for words with how incredible this hotel and its staff are. We had a bad start to our honeymoon and last minute booked a room, the staff responded immediately by making us feel like gold! They upgraded our room, which had an amazing view and offered us free champagne. Throughout the rest of the week we would come home to little letters left for us, and everyone called us by name. Everything was amazing here and has left us wanting to book with Hyatt everywhere we go!
We enjoyed our stay. Very clean, comfortable, peaceful. Staff was very helpful. Very good location Would stay again.
Everyone is very professional. I always return there. Alexandre is very accommodating. Would recommend to everyone.
We had a very good experience in this hotel. We asked for a room away from the elevators and got it. No pressure to check out early and they allocated us extra time for departing the premises in the AM. They also kept our luggage while we waited for our flight later on the day at no charge. Good service and recommend this hotel.
...Don't get me wrong, the hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was great and we had no difficulties communicating our needs. I think being rated 5 stars, we had some pretty high expectations. The location was convenient to everything that we wanted to do and the staff made maps and directions readily available for all of our adventures. However, the complimentary bottled water consisted of only two small bottles a day and when asked if we could get another round after a hot day, we were directed to the $7/$9 drinks in the mini bar. The room was small, but clean, and the bathroom even smaller. While the shower had adequate pressure, the toilet did not. Overall, I'd say the accommodations were on par with a 3.5-4 star in the USA. I'd consider staying there again, just without the high expectations.
We loved this hotel. The location was just perfect. The staff was awesome, especially the concierge Julie. Because the hotel was a bit more expensive( we wanted a nice place for our first time in Paris ) we felt we could only book the French Queen room. Unfortunately my husband and I are tall and the beds are quite short. So if you are tall- book the Deluxe King. Great place!!!
Hotel is very friendly although the M Cafe was under construction with major works and noise durning the day. The web site said two resturants although one is closed for 10 days. They should let people know if a hotel is under construction or offer discount.
The hotel is well run the staff is well trained in helping the client.
Overall, this is a lovely hotel. The staff is very friendly and they all speak English extremely well. The deluxe room we stayed in was charming and roomy for European standards. The bathroom was well laid out, and contained a bath and separate shower (cascading). Only a couple of issues...first, the shower was not draining properly and we needed to rush through our showers in order to avoid it from overflowing into the bathroom. I would say this was most likely an isolated incident, but we had to call 3 times to get someone to finally come and fix it. It was not until the third day that it was fixed. Second issue was that although there was plenty of front desk staff, there was no separate concierge area. There was sometimes a concierge available to help, but other times there was not. We asked some very basic tourist questions and did not always get the most accurate advice. For example, we were told that if we went to the Eiffel Tower and ate lunch in the cafe, we would not need to wait in the lines. We asked if we would be able to just walk into the cafe without a reservation and the concierge told us that this was the case. Upon arriving at the Tower, we realized that all of this info was incorrect. As I stated before, the staff was extremely nice, and I would not have even mentioned this issue if this had been the only incident. There were a couple of others! Finally, we had a cold buffet included in our price, and this was a plus. The breakfast is served in a lovely room and the staff in the restaurant was great. The buffet was good, but not too big. If it is included it is a good deal, however if it is not, the buffet is quite expensive and I would not necessarily recommend spending the money on it.
