The Hyatt Paris Madeleine is a nice hotel located not far from Paris’ main attractions. It is located in the middle of the city but not right next to the major tourist locations. The subway stop is about a block away from the hotel and I highly recommended using the Metro, especially if your not comfortable walking a lot. The hotel itself was nice by European standards. Good size room, little small, but big enough. Some minor damage in the room but nothing severe. The hotel staff was extremely hospitable, very friendly and helpful. Everything you would expect from Hyatt staff. We had the continental breakfast before we left. It was a little overpriced but flawless, and enough for two people. Overall a good option for your trip to Paris.
This hotel is in a great location. We arrived at 11am or so and were met by one of the rudest and unhelpful from office ladies I have ever encountered. instead of trying to accommodate our request for an early check in, she just kept saying there is nothing she can do. didn't even bother to check properly. Then they had overcharged a colleague. Finally, we gave up. After getting our rooms at night, I found the room to be comfortable. on the 4th floor. breakfast was also good. Not quite the Hyatt standards we are used to. sadly. if it wasn't for the check in lady, I may have had a much better experience.
As exquisite as the property is, it pales in comparison to the staff. On-line, Hyatt describes La Chinoiserie Restaurant as the heart of the hotel. In our opinion, the heart of the Hyatt Madeleine is their staff. EVERY member of their staff was truly helpful, considerate, pleasant and extremely personable. Especially Agatha, Marco & Antoine. Room was spacious, comfortable and pleasantly decorated. Bathroom was luxurious and one couldn't ask for more well appointed toiletries. The Hyatt Madeleine is a Five Star hotel, with a Five Star location and a Ten Star staff Thank you for a truly magnificent & memorable stay!!!
Family was treated like royalty upon arrival. I did not have to worry as I was there on business and family tag-along. Very friendly and excellent service. Clean bedding daily and all staff went beyond for the most enjoyable experience
We stayed at the Hyatt Paris Madeleine for Easter weekend. The hotel is situated in a wonderful area close to the Place De Concorde and the Galeries Lafayette. It is surprisingly close to other tourist attractions but is situated in a nice quiet area. The hotel itself inside was quite beautiful especially the lounge area. Everyone at the front desk was wonderful and so is everyone in the restaurant. We got it one of the larger King rooms which face towards the front of the hotel which was quite lovely to have a nice view of the Paris streets and watch people walk by. This place is definitely a must if you go to Paris. We will definitely be back soon.
We stayed here for a 4 night stay as a family of four in the King Junior Suite. The room was gorgeous with a view of the Eiffel Tower peeking over the buildings across the street. The pull out couch was very comfortable for the kids and the room felt spacious despite having 4 people in one room. Every interaction with the staff was pleasant and everyone we spoke with went out of their way to make sure we were happy and well cared for. We booked a room rate that included breakfast and found the food to be delicious and the service to be very good. I will definitely be coming back to this property and can’t recommend it enough.
Location itself is great and and many places are in walking distance. The hotel itself is not what i have expected from a hyatt. Room was very small and not up to date if you compare to other 5stars (bathroom, technology etc). Reception was ok and did everything i wished but not 5star level as well (new staff not support by a senior). All in all for that price and level not a good deal.
We were recently in Paris for one week. This Hyatt has the perfect location and is within walking distance to all of Paris major attractions. It is small and has the ambience of a boutique hotel. We had a great time there. It is the staff that make the stay perfect. From our arrival where we discovered that our taxi did not take CC (we, of course, had no cash) - the front desk helped out and pay for the taxi. They found a room for us right away even though we were early and that was a godsend after traveling for almost a day. During our entire stay, we got to know most of the staffs and they greeted us by our names, help with directions, restaurant reservations, and everything else. Sergio, Lara, and others (my apology for not naming everyone) - you guys are the reason why this is one of the best hotels that we have stayed in and one of the best from the Hyatt brand. Thanks and we will be back soon.
The room was OK. TV remote control didn’t work. The main problem were the queues at reception. I waited at least 20 mins to check out. There seemed to be very few staff around and the people that were working were very slow.
It’s always a plaisir to stay in this hotel. The team is very nice and efficient. Because of strikes I need to change my plans at last minute and the team was very comprehensive with no charge! Rooms are very confortable. Perfect location for the start of the Paris Marathon !
