We visited this hotel with our teenage sons a few years ago and we were all so excited to be going to Paris we turned up a day early! Luckily the receptionist found it quite amusing but was very understanding and with a bit of room jiggling she managed to find 2 rooms next door to each other until we could move into our booked adjoining rooms for the next day, the day we were supposed to arrive at the hotel. We changed rooms the next day much to the staffs amusement, our rooms from the night before were on the ground floor so we could just hear the hustle & bustle outside our window but we did expect this and it really wasn’t a problem for us, we were just grateful we all got a room turning up a day early. We all had a good nights sleep but decided not to stay at the hotel for breakfast and to go exploring however we got quite a shock coming out of the hotel the next morning as there were quite a few homeless people sleeping rough right on the doorstep. The hotel is in the centre of Paris and as you could imagine it’s a high people traffic area which is what we expected everything’s pretty much on the doorstep so there’s plenty of places to eat and drink although it was as expected quite a bit pricey but we were on holiday and we don’t count pennies when we go away. There’s loads to do and see & everything looks different when you go out on a night to what it did during the day but it’s absolutely beautiful and my sons loved the hustle and bustle of the city, there’s just so much to do I could write a book about it. We returned to the hotel on the evening and went to our adjoining rooms which our sons loved, the rooms were in a corner so the doors of both rooms were at an L shape side by side but there was also a main door into both rooms which provided double security and peace of mind for us, it was the first time we’d allowed our sons to have a room on their own. The rooms were immaculate and so were the bathrooms, we were no longer on the ground floor so the noise we heard the night before was no longer there. We stayed at the hotel for a week and a day and had no problems with staff or the hotel, we thoroughly enjoy our stay and every night fell into bed exhausted from sightseeing and pounding the pavements. Great hotel, great service and great location for being right in the centre of everything.

Cosy hotel very comfortable bed.The staff very helpful. When we arrived our room wasn't ready so the manager gave us another room which he said was a better room.We was allowed to leave our cases on the last day as long as we wanted to then help ourselves to coffee on our return before going to the airport.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Villathena. It was clean and cosy! It is very close to the metro, allowing for easy access to all the attractions of Paris. Thank you for making our stay a great one! If we are ever in Paris again, we will be back!

Clean and quiet rooms. Kind staff. Excellent position. Good price for a good service. Free wifi working. About breakfast I'm not able to provide any opinion as I had not booked it. I highly recommend it.

Hotel well located, in the area of opera, near the RER station and metro Saint Lazare, which allows to reach all areas of Paris. Attentive staff, although they should speak more languages for tourists from outside France. Overpriced breakfast, 17 euros buffet per person. Television only has French channels so if you do not speak this language you can not see it.

I was recently in Paris and for a quick weekend with some girlfriends. This hotel is near cafes, the train, shopping, and many famous sites to see. The room was large enough for two people (our other friends stayed down the hall) and was clean. We also felt safe walking around in the neighborhood.

Villathena is walking distance to every touristic place you will want to visit and is close to the railways stations and metro stations. Great restaurants are also at an arm's length. The team at the reception is very helpful and the cleaning team does a thorough job. They serve tea in the foyer in the afternoon and though there are no kettles in the room, they will send you hot water or even a kettle to your room.

This was hotel is a little gem lots of character. But extremely small. Even for 2 ppl. The shower is very small. I’m glad because we’re not too big either. The AC does not work and our room was in the bottom floor next to the reception desk and inside the room all night if someone was either smoking in the street or near our room we were able to smell. We had to open the window all night to air out the room. I’m a hot body person so I was hot all night because i think the AC was just there for looks or it’s a placebo. It near st Lazare gate near opera house and big bus pick up. It’s very trendy and there’s like a small store if you need to get water. Ooh the beat was a small Chinese restaurant we frequented. We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was 10 euros can’t go wrong with that.

Helpful and friendly staff. Great location. Our room for 3 persons may be was a bit to small... anyway we came to Paris not to spent our time at the hotel! Spacious, very clean and recently renovated bathroom was a huge bonus:)

3 day stay in Paris. We, as common mortals, wanted an hotel that we could sleep, that wasn't too expensive and that was clean (one of the big problems with the cheapest hotels). We found Villathéna and the reviews were nice... Booked it. My review: when we got there, the staff was SO friendly! They had us at "hello". When we got to the room, however, we thought that was smaller that what we saw in pictures, but nice ! it was for 2 nights only and, the most important part: SUPER CLEAN ! Uff! we were relieved! The breakfast was nice, you could ask for bacon, eggs and other hot foods that the lovely miss would cook for you. When leaving, we had time for one last visit to the city - they kept our bags and even printed our boarding passes :) All in all, it was a very nice experience. The location was nice, very close to Ópera and Galeries LaFayette and you have some cafés and restaurants very near (including McDonald's and Burger King). Also REALLY close to the metro station. Reccomend It ! :)
