My wife and I stayed here for 6 nights in March. This is a wonderful hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location with bus stops just steps away. Quiet and visually attractive rooms. Really good continental breakfast with a variety of choices.
The entrance of the hotel is beautiful and the men that welcomed us were lovely. It feels good and safe when you are personally welcomed. I was here on a business trip and booked 6 standard rooms, Luckily I was upgraded to a bigger room (see picture). Like almost all hotels in Paris the rooms a relatively small. The people I booked the room for, told me their rooms were quite small, but comfortable. The room contain minibar and WIFI is free and running well. All areas are nice, cosy and clean. The breakfast was very good for what you usually get in Parisian hotels. The area is near Palace de Luxembourg and the Pantheon. It has a lot of pubs and restaurant which are not that expensive than on the other sire of the river. So when staying in Paris and want to stay on the left side of the Seine, I recommend this hotel! +++ Hotel appearance +++ WIFI +++ rooms + standard rooms are quite small + area
Just returned from lovely 3 day visit to Paris staying at the lovely, recently refurbished hotel Sercotel-Lutece, near Jardins du Luxembourg. Very comfortable rooms and bed, super friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast served in the cellar like room. Great coffee, delicious croissants and everything.
it is a good hotel for its level - clean, small but well equipped rooms, ok, make this very small, at least the single room I was at, so small that you cannot place a laptop on the desk (no table). But otherwise good. good location, friendly staff, and considering it has no kitchen, so cannot prepare anything that needs cooking, good breakfast (cereal, bread, pastries, yogurt and the like). My major complaint, and it is not that major, is that there seemed to be no way to gain any control over the heat of the water in the shower. You set it one way, and immediately it starts changing, and you never manage to compensate properly. Not freezing cold, but certainly not pleasantly warm either, at least not for more than 5-10 seconds
We stayed there twice, when starting the trip, and at the end of it. The location was a little bit inconvenient if you want to go often to La Seine´s banks, and a little bit far from the heart of the commercial centre surrounding St Severin, St Julien Le Pauvre and so on. Close to la Place de la Contrescarpe, which is a nice place to dine out. The staff was very nice and extremely helpful, especially Joao, but the rest of them were great as well. Breakfast OK, rooms OK. The first time we stayed there we had no wifi in the room, despite it had been sold as an included service; hence, you have to go to the lobby, which was extremely hot because it was a terrible summer and they had no air conditioning. The second time, as we chaged rooms, the wifi was perfect. One evening, the laptop at the lobby became out of order and it never was replaced. However, it is fair enough to tell you that the staff told us they were starting several works to improve facilities.
The staff is very professional and warm hearted... u actually can feel it in the house what overwhelming professional work they do every day. Is is always a pleasure to come back to this nice hotel....thank u all
We stayed 4 nights in this hotel. We never felt like staying in a hotel as the staff are so friendly and always there to help. They arranged our package tour, guided us to get best out of all offers, helped us to register our telephone SIM....the list is long because we cannot understand French and we required lot of support from them and we were never refused. I think the personal touch what this hotel staff has shown to us is invaluable and nothing can be better than that. Last but not least at the time of departure they offered me a VIP status for my repeat booking which is quite an honour. The hotel is in a perfect location and all tourist spots are near by. I strongly recommend this hotel to all.
Hotel located in a very good place near Panthéon and Luxembourg Gardens. nearest metro station to hotel is Censier-Daubenton Metro Station in 0.3 mil. It's Staff was cute, very good europe breakfast and very clean room. But they were made changes to hotel and everything was under construct without any announcement in advanced! If you want to book, First you ask a question about fishing the renovation.
We recently stayed for 6 nights and found the hotel staff to be very accommodating. I needed to have a cup of coffee before they opened up for breakfast so the manager Jaoa, took me to the breakfast area and allowed me to have a cup of coffee, he made sure that my request for non-feather pillows was honored and he printed my boarding pass. The breakfast was very good, the bed was comfortable and the location was excellent. The room was very typical for Europe. TV channels only offered 1 full time English speaking channel- CGTN. China Global Television Network.
I was originally booked from 16-21st October, but due to Hurricane Ophelia in Ireland flight cancelled so arrived 18th. On arrivals cold reception, no information given re what facilities available. Also nothing in room re information. Everything closed apart from room! Also 4 times when had do no disturb on room, cleaners barged opened the door! Very dismissive in terms of their renovations, and no options given re change of expected facilities. Definitely not worth the money.
