good, clean, nice spa area. Good bed and friendly staff. few spots of paint missing on furniture, but I can understand it is difficult to maintain. Fridge would be nice, but room service is available.
A family group of us arrived having booked rooms through Expedia. We required 1 double and 1 family room but hotel were insistent we had booked 2 doubles and 1 family room. We did argue the point for a bit but with a 5 and 7 year old in tow decided to sort it out after the trip. We explained we didn't want the extra room but the hotel staff said we had to take the key. Fast forward to today and Expedia say we shouldn't have took the key and because we did they can't refund us. Highly suspicious that the hotel staff knew this so they got the money for the room. It was our error due to problems on Expedia website but just feel the hotel staff had their own interests at heart and could have better informed us.
We've been more than happy with hotel Mademoiselle. Rooms are very comfortable and well thought out for usability on a small space. With very nice touches - like super nice towels, Kusmi tea in the room, very tasteful decorations. Breakfast was surprisingly delicious and with a great variety for a small hotel. I'd definitely like to come back.
We recently stayed in this hotel, and our stay was ok. The room we had was nice, but the bed was not comfortable, and a bit of trek to get to the room because the lift didn't operate to the top floor. One member of staff was raving about the breakfast when we arrived, but it was nothing special, just your average breakfast with a couple of hot options and some pastries. They had a machine to boil your own eggs, however there was not enough water in the machine, nor was the water hot enough to cook the eggs. The staff could see that guests were struggling with the situation, and didn't offer to boil the eggs in the kitchen instead. Also the reception was a bit of a struggle, there always seemed to be a queue, and for some reason both staff working on the desk had to work on one reservation, and were slowing things down. The staff were all pleasant but all seemed a bit useless to be honest. The best thing about the hotel was the location, it seemed very well linked to all the tourist attractions and there are nice areas with good restaurants/bars not far walking distance. Overall it was ok, but we wouldn't stay there again.
Spent 2 nights in Paris for work. Booked hotel at very last minute. Initially not greatest welcome, but latedstaff did all they could to make me super comfortable Breakfast area nicely situated, with even a small inner yard. Best is location: market round the corner and Gare du nord just up the road. Very handy. Would book direct though, as you get breakfast for free then.
An outstanding little hotel a stones throw from gare du nord. Friendly, helpful staff and excellent breakfast. Location is perfect to visit Paris and be close to the Eurostar. The wifi is a bit hit and miss but overall excellent.
Hotel Mademoiselle is unassuming yet probably one the best hotels in its league i've been to recently. The staff has understood that the devil is in the details and they pay attention on top of being extremely helpful. The breakfast is close to perfect and the lounge is cosy and elegant. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and definitely coming back.
Everything is just great, location near the Gare du Nord, cosy atmosphere, bed with firm mattress, simple yet delicious breakfast, nice cosy corners with 'cute' little armchairs, little supermarket next to it. Stayed on the 5th floor next to the elevator, facing the road. Wasn't noisy with traffic. For those who are light sleepers request for room away from the elevator although it doesn't disturb us. Lots of channels on TV but mostly non English except a few news channel like CNN. Shows were all dubbed in French. Basically can't find anything to complain about.
We recommend this delightful hotel with confidence. They cannot do enough for you. All the staff are so pleasant and helpful. Beautifully kept bedrooms with great character. The whole building has a good warm feeling about it.. Delicious breakfast with a huge choice. Perfect. If you want somewhere near to the Gare du Nord or L'est especially, go here. We are sure you will agree with us.
Lovely little place, very quiet most of the time, very friendly and helpful staff, the breakfast was really nice, not a huge selection but everything was good quality. The position was also really good, minutes away from the metro may restaurants around. Highly recommended.
