The staff was very kind. They did everything they could to make our stay pleasant . We do not speak French and the staff made every effort to assist us in understanding directions. Room was clean and newly remodeled.
Overall our experience with all the staff was a very pleasant one, except for Tareq at the front desk. Tareq obviously does not realize that we, the customers, are the reason he has a job. He needs to be taught a whole lot more on Best Customer Service Practices as he has failed miserably at this. The hotel itself is very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were definitely not soundproof as you can distinctly hear what is going on in the other rooms. However, don't let that be a deterrent as we were oblivious to it after the first night. Room was cleaned daily. Breakfast was reasonable. Hotel was walking distance to the Main Street Pigalle, restaurants, bars, shipping buses and trains. We had no regrets with our choice.
The hotel was probably the worst hotel I've stayed in. The previous reviews stated that it had the basics but just barely. The hotel supplied disposiable plastic glasses but not every day.
