Had a lovely time. Hotel is small as are the rooms but the location was good, breakfast was nice, and staff fantastic.
The hotel may have 4 stars on the outside, but we have stayed in better 2 star hotels. The most cramped room we have ever had in Paris or any major city. The only nice thing about this hotel is the location.
Stayed for 2 nights. Neighborhood not terrific - saw a guy peeing up against a tree outside Magdeline church
Parfait! Room was expectedly smaller than normal. The lady Victoria? (I think) was amazingly kind as were all the staff. Great view of La Madeleine plaza and our room had a balcony and WiFi.
This was the second time I have stayed at the Madeleine Plaza hotel. The rooms are small but they are clean and certainly adequate. Sometimes you need to ask for supplies such as shower cap and there are no extra towels etc. Victoria and Crystal on the front desk are absolutely outstanding and make staying at the hotel worthwhile. They provide as good service as at the best hotels. I would stay there again because of them.
Great location. Friendly helpful staff nice rooms. Clean. All around a great hotel!
Hotel is in great location in Paris with easy access to subway systems and within walking distance of many of the Paris sites. Hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful and the room was small but very comfortable. Would stay there again.
We spent 6 nights at this hotel in a standard twin room. Although a bit small, there is adequate storage in a closet. The mini bar is not overpriced, and there is a fee for the key for the safe. Room is nicely decorated, and very quiet considering we were facing the street. There is no restaurant at this hotel, but a good breakfast is provided at additional cost. Location couldn't be better with Metro stations just outside the hotel, and Open Tour bus terminal one minute away. Great high-end shopping is nearby and the mighty Madeleine church is across the street.
Great location, 30 meters to Metro. Hotel help strong particularly Victoria. Hotel is somewhat worn, need new towels
Nice hotel right on Madeleine Square. Room was average size for a big city, i.e., small, but location was unbeatable. No more than 30 minutes on foot to all top Paris sites, and a convenient metro stop just around the corner. Numerous restaurants in sight of hotel.
The Room was very nice. The location was excellent.
The room was clean and the front desk was always helpful.
Very pleasant stay. Staff could not be friendlier or more helpful
Attractive and classic-Haussman-architecture hotel in a terrific Right Bank location. Rooms face historic and awesome Madeleine Church, a block-square Napoleon-ordered recreation of a Greek Temple. Hotel exterior looks classic 150-years old but built in 1990s and well maintained. Rooms small, like most Paris hotels, but OK furnishings. Easy walk to many top sights including Opera Garnier, top shops, Place de la Concorde, etc. Three Metro lines and three bus lines to everywhere adjacent to the hotel.
The weather was perfect and the crowds were manageable! The hotel was in a great location - close enough to get where we wanted to go. We had a room with a view of the Madeliene! The hotel staff was exceptional. Two outstanding and VERY helpful front desk employees were Imzan and Anastasia. Thank you to them!!! We purchased the transfer and we're very glad we did.
I booked this hotel very last minute when options were limited. My criteria included: walking distance to monuments/tourist attractions, easy access to the metro, larger than average (for Paris) accomodations, free wifi, and well rated. The hotel scored on all counts. The location is in the heart of the upscale shopping district, within easy walking distance of the Champs. The metro was steps away, and was a stop that served three lines. Staff were pleasant and bilingual.
The room gave a good first impression. Toile bed covers and blue wallpaper, but on closer inspection the bathroom had hair on the floor from previous guests, the air-conditioning did not work, and the beds were board hard! The location of the hotel is wonderfully convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, the nights without air-conditioning were difficult to get a good nights rest. The beds left us with backaches in the morning. Although conveniently located, I would not stay here again.
I was not in the room that often, but the staff was friendly. The room was small but cute. It was very quite and clean. A great place to stay in Paris.
It was mine and my son's first trip to Paris. We found the location to be right in the middle of what we wanted to see and do. It was a small hotel, which we liked very much, but the rooms were very comfortable. The hotel personnel were helpful in every way. We would stay there again.
Extremely hot! No one in our family was able to sleep do to the heat, the air-conditioning was not working, and at 0530 we received a unsolicited wake-up call (apparently all the hotel guest received a wake-up call due to a faulty system…). In addition we paid for a roll away bed for my son and it closed on him twice, my son end up sleeping on the floor.
