The overall conditions, the lack of hygene and the unfinished electriques and decor made a difficult to forget night. So the conditions and decor were precarious that instead of doing the meetign I rode back home to take a shower!!!!
It is called 2* hotel, and you shouldn't expect much from this place. No elevator, small rooms, plastic door to the toilet, and very small breakfast. We also found mold at the bathroom, and it worth mentioning that walls are made of a very thin material, so we were hearing nearly everything from neighbouring rooms. But from the plus sides: there is air conditioning, friendly English speaking staff, and availability of public transportation. City center is a bit far away (50 minutes of walking to the Eiffel tower), but there are a lot of small and nice restaurants nearby. We have paid around 300 € per 3 nights for 2 with the included breakfast. Not too bad for the high season. So overall the feeling about this place is ok, especially if you don't plan to stay all the time in the hotel.
Pleasant 3 night stay in early April, ideal for somewhere budget-friendly for a short break. Double room was relatively small and there was a lingering smell of stale smoke; walls were thin and could hear noise from neighbouring room at times during the first night but considering we were only there for a few hours per night to sleep this was bearable. I was apprehensive prior to our stay judging by previous reviews, and as mentioned by others the stairs could use some work and a little attention to the hotel exterior wouldn't go amiss either - however, must remember the hotel is only 2/3 stars and doesn't claim to be anything else. Location is great, right next to a metro and bus station so easy to get around the city. Any staff we encountered were friendly and helpful with good English and there was always someone at reception. Wifi was good, I didn't have breakfast during as there are several cafes and bakeries in the area. Shower was great, took a few minutes to heat up but water pressure and temperature good. Bed was comfy, plenty of plug sockets in the room and fresh towels/housekeeping daily. Would stay again when returning to Paris, good quality for a cheap stay!
I stayed here with two friends while i was in Paris and i have to say that it was a great experience and it was what you would get for a 2 star hotel.First of all the rooms were very modern and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Don't get any rooms on the ground floor as it would be too loud at night as it is next door to the kitchen and dining area. Rooms on the 1st 2nd and 3rd floors would be good and quiet. One thing i have to say is that in my room the toilet and bathrooms had sliding curtain doors with no locks or handles so while doing your business everyone would be listening. The shower had good power however it didn't have a holder so you had to hold the shower head in your hand. The air conditioner in my room was completely smashed up however it is always quite cold in Paris. The room had an electric Radiator which was useful . The greatest thing about the hotel was the location as it was extremely close to a metro station, the Arc DE Triumph ,many bakeries and patisseries , The bus stop and many restaurants that vary in different types of food. The Reception always had someone there so it was a piece of mind and the rooms were nice and quiet. Amazing Experience with amazing memories definatly would recommend this to ANYONE
We stayed here during our first trip to Paris last year. We really enjoyed this hotel! Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious, room was cute. I am taking 1 star away because cleaning lady through away my razor while she was cleaning the shower. It is not up to her to decide. We will definitely come back next time we visit.
Try to get the first-floor room, as you have access to wifi and its in ground floor .. rooms are quite small .. but hey its Paris. lol , everyone knows the size of Parisians rooms.. hotel doesn't prove laundry service .. therefore you might need to rely on outside services .. Ironing is in the common area .. the surroundings is superb .. you will love it .. and metro is just 30 meters away ..
Reached this hotel very easily , it has a Metro station just outside and transport links are excellent. The room 10 was very comfortable , it just needs a little looking after( some wallpaper is coming off and the water in the bath come out from both the shower head and the tap at the same time, not a big issue but might needs looking into). The room was very clean so very well done the the housekeeper. I would stay here again when I am back in Paris.
The pictures definitely make it look nicer than it is but it wasn't terrible Positive: Decent location close to arc de triumph Good wifi Close to metro Strong shower pressure Negatives: The cleanliness of the hotel is not great- the bedding was clean and fresh but little care is taken over anything else. There is dust over the dresser, on the skirtings and pipes, all down the stairs etc The hotel is in need of serious tlc, the walls are marked and there was water leaking from the bottom of our shower as the silicone bit from the bottom of the door was missing (although plenty of clean towels where provided in the room) The stairs felt really steep and unsafe-I wouldn't trust myself on them after a wine! The air con is very old fashioned and not up to much We were in room 27 which had a toilet separate from the shower which is great, however the toilet had a bi fold door so not great for keeping the romance alive after indulging in French cheese! We did not eat in the hotel but the food didn't look great. The staff were polite enough but nothing to rave about Was fine for a night but wouldn't recommend
Booked this hotel for 4 nights on March 2016. Checked out some pictures which you can find here or on booking com and expected to have nice, clean and modern-stylized room. And what in the end? First what we noticed were stairs, covered with dust and mildew everywhere. UFFF! The receptionist made us to finish booking and only after he wanted to show us the room but we told that we will not pay until we check the room. When we came into the ROOM we saw some small place for rats. Everywhere was mildew, bedsheet was dirty, shower was too small and smelled too unpleasant.. We decided move away from this hole and told the receptionist that the rooms are totally different from the pictures we saw on the internet. He asked from us to pay the reservation in a price 100% of one night stay. It was unfairly, but they took this money from the card. My advise is - to think well before you want to stay in this place for homeless people.
Close to subway.Decent wi-fi ,poor(and not free) breakfast with a good ar cond functioning! As everything in Paris is expensive, the Hotel also was.I ordered some stuff from Amazon and it was nor received from front desk.
