Lovely staff who work hard at helping customers. Nothing was a bother. Clean hotel, clean room- comfortable bed. As has been said- room is small but fine for solo use. Lift is tiny.. but stairs sufficed. Good value stay. Breakfast was worth the cost to me. Close to metro. And walking very easy. Shopping area (rue du Commerce) close by. Journey to the Airport from the hotel with suitcases needs a bit of thinking- stairs only at nearby Metro. My journey back was a bit of a nightmare (nothing to do with the hotel) there was an accident on the Metro- and everything stopped. Can't imagine this happens often. If I go again I would consider taking a private bus that leaves from Avenue de Suffren.
Hotel Korner was very cute, cozy, and clean. The staff were very welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. The rooms were a good size for singles or couples. The rooms had no AC, but that did not bother me. We slept with the fan and windows open. I would recommend getting a room on the upper levels for the view and to avoid the noise from the subway below. The metro was not far (5-10 minutes). We enjoyed the walk. The Eiffel Tower is about a 20 minute walk away as well. The neighborhood is quite at night and we felt safe.
Stayed for 5 nights as a couple and we both really enjoyed this hotel. We were greeted with a drink upon arrival and shown where the main attractions were on the map which was a nice touch and the staff made us feel very welcome, even lending us a plug adapter when ours didn't work. Room was a decent size for a big city hotel and was very clean with fresh towels every day. The room had a modern en suite bathroom with a hairdryer and was clean too. Ideal location, only 200m away from Charles Michels metro station and only 10-15 mins away from main sites such as Notre Dam and the Arc de Triomphe so it was pretty easy getting around. Would happily stay here again in future.
Hotel Korner – Paris - nice hotel reasonable price. Pleasantly surprised for 2 star hotel. This was better than the 3 star hotel I stayed the previous night in Amiens. Very welcoming staff who offered us a drink to refresh us on arrival. The staff also very helpful in suggesting places to go etc. Rooms were clean with en-suite. If there was one thing that could be improved it would be the mattress, but for 1 or 2 nights it's fine. Also there is a small lift so if you are on the upper floors not a problem. Would I recommend.....Yes nice hotel reasonable price and good location.
The staff at this hotel was the best of our entire vacation. They helped any way we needed. Their recommendations were spot on. I would certainly go to this hotel again. The breakfast was a small french breakfast and was available all day.
Great location, 2 minutes walk from metro station. Clean and cosy rooms, and the staff is really friendly and helpful. A great value from money. We stayed for two nights and it was great. I would recommend it for anyone!!!
The hotel is in the center of the city. The room was clean and beautiful. The service was absolutely perfect. Nice and helpful people. The metro station is so close (few minutes walk). Thank you to made my trip easier.
Great location, very friendly staff, fresh / modern look. Great value for money considering its location. The rooms were well cleaned. Overall little charming hotel and we will book again for another weekend. It is perfect for short stay and exploring the city. However, the rooms do not have AC so I would probably not consider for a long stay.
Advantages -Hotel located close to the metro station (2 minutes walk) -The room has a pretty big washroom -Helpful staff Disadvantages -Rooms are extremely small. A twin room will be suitable only for one person. For two will be not that convenient -There is no AC in the rooms. The hotel provides with a small fan, which doesn’t help at all. You feel like in a steaming room in the hotel. This makes the room horrible to stay inside for more than a couple of hours. You won’t fall asleep easily with the heat in the room -Our room was on the ground floor (#10), so there was no opportunity to even open the windows, as anyone from the street could simply jump to the room or look inside. -The bed wasn’t big and not that comfortable -Wifi had issues in the beginning, however after fixing there was no issues with it -We didn’t buy a breakfast because it was a bit expensive to pay 9 Euro for a poor one -It is far from The Eiffel tower really. It took us at least 25 minutes to reach the tower with fast walking. It is tiring to walk this way. Maybe better to use transportation. Overall, I doubt if I ever would stay there again as you feel like not in a hotel, but in a corner, same as the name of it.
A very nice hotel with an excellent location and service, Is located near two metro stations that permits a very easy transportation, also is very near the Eiffel tower and the Seine river about 20 minutes walking. Excellent hotel selection
