Excellent location but the hotel needs some renovations. Some of the staff peopwl were rude.

its a little hotel on Rivoli St. very comfortable. The staff is nice, they help a lot during my stay in Paris. Very close to the hotel de ville/Notre Dame/Louvre.

Nice experience but a little short. My room was upgraded to a double. Even though I was on the street side, I heard nothing.

Everything including breakfast is great. Room sizes are okay for Paris standards.

The room was small but clean, however there was a strong smell and visible traces of mold on the ceiling and walls. When in the room I kept the fan on and the windows open or I wouldn't have been able to stand it. The bathroom was very nice, however on my second night a large panel from the ceiling fell down - caused by the vibrations from closing the main door which was quite heavy. Thank god I wasn't in the bathroom at the time because the panel was quite large and heavy.

The room was decidedly dated, but clean. Americans will be reminded by the decor of a Motel. Not glamorous or luxurious (or even all that pretty), but safe and clean with an AMAZING location, incredibly affordable (considering you're staying in Paris), and really sweet and helpful front desk staff. We paid a little extra for a superior room and it was about the size of a small hotel room in the US and had a stunning view of the Hôtel de Ville across the street. I have a gluten allergy so we didn't pay for breakfast, but there are great cafes right next to the hotel so save your euros. Go in knowing what to expect and you will not be disappointed!

Super location very close to the Hotel de Ville! Friendly receptionist. Decent room for the money.

Pros: Great location and value. During my stay, I had free wifi which was another big plus. Easy access to lots of popular attractions, such as the 2, 3, 4, 5 districts. Also, the hotel is close to the central train locations, such as the RER to get to the airport (this was huge as it saved a ton of money). Comfortable bed. Friendly staff who were all fluent in english. Con: Old hotel with dated fixtures, carpet, chairs, desks, etc. Elevator was extremely small and slow. If you want to stay in the trendy Le Marais district in a budget friendly hotel, I would recommend this hotel.

I enjoyed my stay here. I traveled to Paris alone for 10 days and this location in the Marais was close to many things including Notre Dame. The staff was friendly. The maids do not speak English so be prepared but they are friendly. I would stay here again.

The Hotel is right on Rue de Rivoli which merges into the Champs Elysees. It's near the Seine and not far from all of the main museums i.e. Louvre, Musee D'Orsay and Picasso. Breakfast in the "cellar" was very french and quite nice. I will defintely stay at the hotel again.

We had room 42 as small as a cupboard with a minute bathroom looking at the back of hotel, musty smell, molds. My poor wife suffered an acute bronchial asthma attack all night. The staff offered us room 26 on the next day slightly better, looking at the main road, NO AIRCONDOTION ,temp was 76F. had to leave window open , all night traffic noise , STAY AWAY HORRIBLE PLACE

The hotel has only one value - its location. We were on the 5th floor, Wi-Fi was not reachable that high, though hotel positions itself as the one with free Wi-Fi. I am not sure whether all standard rooms are as small as the one on the 5th floor, however two people couldn’t move around simultaneously, one had to seat down and wait for another to pass. Under the bathroom sink wet towel collecting dropping water. 7 years ago I stayed in Paris in 1 star hotel. Did not see the difference in amenities of 1 and 3 star this time besides the price.

The room was small but expected in Paris. Room was clean but very old. This hotel will do if you're not planning on spending a lot of time in the room. The location was ideal. Middle of Paris and access to Metro/RER/BUS. Lots of restaurants in the area and near the river which makes it great for night life by the banks.

I recently stayed at Hotel France Louvre and had an amazing experience. Hotel staff was very helpful with recommending restaurants and planning my side trip to Vimy Ridge. The hotel is in a great location for using the metro and is a ten minute walk from Notre Dame and the Louvre. Free wifi was available, AC in the room and the shower had great pressure/very clean. Although the room was very small compared to Canadian hotels, it was still a great place to rest your head at night and take in the oldest parts of Paris. I do not recommend the breakfast at the hotel because you can get better value at other close by restaurants. Overall, great hotel for the price and I loved my experience!

This is a small boutique hotel located near the Marais neighborhood in centrl Paris. The location is perfect - convenient to transportation, great walking neighborhoods, great restaurants and bars, the Seine and lots of attractions. The rooms are small, especially the bathroom,s but are the perfect European experience. Not for you if you need the luxury of American style rooms, but perfect if you like quaint and funky! Rooms on the street have a great Paris street view, but rooms in the back are quieter.

The Hotel France Louvre is a quaint French hotel with a relaxing atmosphere and comfort. The staff is ultra accommodating and very pleasant. Location is ideal for local atmosphere. Breakfast is in an adorable grotto with delicious food. Loved it.

The hotel room is the usual size for Europe. The room was small but very quiet and had all amenities that I needed, including good water pressure in the shower! The Hotel was very quiet and I felt very safe by myself. The Hotel was in easy walking distance to shops, bakeries, restaurants and musesums. The staff was friendly & assisted me to reserve safe and convenient transportation back to the Airport.

The hotel room was small but it was comfortable and had a small bathroom. There was no noise and the staff was helpful and courteous. The only problem was that the ac did not work but i slept comfortably with the window open. No bug bites! There was a view of an alley but i thought this was good because this kept the noise level down. We walked to the Louvre and Notre Dame and to the train station to get to Versailles and another one to get to the airport. Overall we were rather satisfied especially given the price of other hotel rooms.

Narrow halls & staircases, typical of boutiquey Parisian hotels. This is right across from the Hotel de Ville Metro stop, so easy to get to from the airport. It's also a block or two from the Seine, and across the river from the Notre Dame. The rooms are tiny, but fully equipped. View out onto Rue Rivoli, which is a busy, main street. The location is perfect. Delicious boulangerie in a square a block away, and surrounded by dozens of restaurants, bars, and shopping. There's also a market across the street (I think on Saturday). It took less than an hour to take a train to Versaille for a day trip, and less than two hours out to Dijon for wineries. The Louvre, Latin Quarter, Notre Dame are a short walk away. Montmartre, the Eiffel Tower, and the Champs Elysees are a short Metro ride. Because of the location, I'd definitely stay here again.

The location of this hotel was the best thing about it. The area was the Marais district and had lots of restuarants and Starbucks along with a very convenient Patisserie to take out from. You can easily walk to all the most notable sites. (with confortable shoes or take the Metro.) The front desk area is almost non existant, enough to squeeze by to get to the lift. Typical small hotel accomodations. Dont take a huge suitcase here! Rooms are tiny. Coffee Maker and hairdryer in room was great to have. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful
