Very nice hotel! Loved the location- close to the metro and right in the heart of the city. The hotel staff are always available to help. The river cruise they sell tickets for is absolutely worth it! Small and cozy accommodations and I was very well taken care of with good free coffee, hot water and free wifi. The location was ideal and I could comfortably walk back fo the hotel late at night. Definitely staying here again!
Hotel was about average for this area. Room was small, bathroom was outdated. Air conditioning stayed on when it felt like it. Room service kept replacing just a single towel when there were two of us staying, causing us to request towels daily. TV remote worked sporadically and needed new batteries (which they replaced, and some of the functions still did not work). Walls are relatively thin so you will likely hear other guests at night, but it is tucked down a quiet alley way away from the main street so ambient noise is decent. Bed was mediocre at best. Was not a negative experience but would likely not stay here again or recommend it as there are better options in the 9th in Paris for the same price.
Nice hotel very close to the metro making it easy to get round the city Friendly staff make you welcome Rooms clean but very small walls are paper thin No English channels on the TV Breakfast room tiny so felt a bit squashed in plenty of food available
We booked a package through a reputable travel agent for a 3 night stay in this hotel. It is well situated in the grands Boulevards area and very close to metro station and many good restaurants and bars. However, this has to have been the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in , basically a bed in a room and not space for anything else. There were no desk level electrical sockets to charge phones etc, we did find a socket underneath the desk but the sock moved about when when tried to use it. The safe did not work and the staff could not seem to fix it! The air conditioning seemed to blow but did not change temperature. The carpets were very worn and stained in places. Worst of all was the ensuite bathroom and shower. it was small, very tight space to move around, and could have used a thorough clean and a bit of updating. If you see this hotel on your list--forget it and spend your cash somewhere else!!
Rooms are just big enough. Only a couple of power sockets (under the table), the desk/table not really big enough to have anything other than a small notepad on. Everything was clean, if some parts were a bit in need of some TLC. Reception seemed to have real problems with my booking, first not fiindng it on check in, then not being sure it it had been paid for on check out, but they did speak reasonable English, which is much appreciated. Location is the winner, it is set back from the road, so really quite. Walls are paper thin, so when neighboring rooms open or close their door, you will know WiFi kind of works, but then it is France. Breakfast is "light", again, it's France.
There are so many things that we loved about this hotel. Yes, the rooms are small, but they are very clean and nicely decorated. They let us one hour early into our room - thank you. The front desk help were nice, friendly, and helpful. The location is awesome: on a small, quiet street, but close to many restaurants, shops, and the Metro. This room is a great value for Paris. HOWEVER, THERE WAS ONE THING THAT WE DID NOT LIKE: COFFEE IS CONSIDERED PART OF THE MINIBAR. THERE WERE NO DIRECTIONS FOR THE COFFEE MAKER; WE HAD A PERSON FROM THE FRONT DESK EXPLAIN IT TO US. BUT THEY CHARGED US FOR EACH POD! BEWARE!!
Great and helpful staff, especially Camille! Our room for 2 was a bit small, but clean and serviced consistently well. Comfortable beds!! Location is good, far enough away from the busy tourist spots but close enough to walk. Love their cuckoo clocks in the lobby and dining area. Would I stay here again? Absolutely.
I am astounded by some of the negative reviews of this hotel as we found it to be just lovely. Yes the rooms are on the very small side & so are the lift & corridors but not an issue to us (we were in 2 rooms); it was just quaint. Rooms were nicely presented & spotlessly clean. Likewise the bathrooms were well fitted out & very clean - there are some damp patches on the bathroom walls but this should not be a surprise given the age of the building. Service was spot on & we felt well looked after with baggage holding on arrival & at departure while we went out sightseeing. If you are looking for a clean, reasonably priced, well located taste of Paris with great service then look no further.
My boyfriend and I booked for one night at this hotel. Luckily we were there for just one night or we would have gone elsewhere.. The hotel is IN DIRE NEED OF RENOVATION. The photos show how bad it is and this was just our room. Admittedly the hotel is in a great location for tourist sightseeing but by no means is this a 3* hotel and believe me, we have stayed in many hotels!! Check out was at 12 and we had the cleaner knock on our door at 10:30 asking when we were leaving so she could start cleaning. Talk about feeling pressured to get out! Dirty carpets, wall socket hanging on by sellotape the list goes on... At check out the lady at the desk was smirking and laughing at our observations of the room that we showed her (the photos I have attached) and didn’t show any attention regarding our concerns. Very unprofessional and rude, if anything I think she was embarrassed by our findings and I’m sure they get told this by lots of guests. We will definitely not be staying here again when we visit Paris again. A very disappointing experience
Nice little hotel just off of a Main Street. The area is nice and quiet but is only a 20 minute walk away from the Moulin Rouge on one direction and 20 minutes to Notre-Dame in the opposite direction. We walked to most places with the exception of using the hop on tour bus to get around. The hotel room itself is small or “cozy”. There’s A Nespresso machine in the room it please note it is not free, I recall it’s around €1.50 per pod. I would note that the corridors, stairway and elevator are very narrow! I think it’ll be a struggle with larger luggage. The elevator fits one person and a bag pretty snug!
