There’s no one on location to manage the property, so if there’s a problem, you’re screwed. I got there in the evening and my door code wouldn’t work. I was stuck with all my luggage so I couldn’t go anywhere and I couldn’t get into apartment. Calling the contact number didn’t work (no answer) and there was no response to my texts. Finally, after an hour the number went to a voicemail that gave me alternate numbers for emergencies and someone was able to reset the door code. Whew. But my subsequent requests for the WiFi password were ignored (I was told there was a list in the apartment, but I couldn’t find any such thing). There for five nights and no WiFi. Fortunately, cellular was strong and worked fine. Overall, good place and fair price, but scary not having responsive proprietors especially when you’re visiting a foreign country and not aware of the area.

In the heart of Paris City this hotel is cozy and clean. At first we had hard time to locate our apartment but later we figured it out they gave us clear instructions. On our 6 days stay we didn’t have to contact the owner but I am wondering how smooth it would be. Other than that we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Close to everything. Few minutes Walt to rail and bus station.

Good location

We had a lovely stay here, and found the property charming and convenient. All the rooms are unique, and in renovated 18th and 19th century buildings, with brick and stone walls, massive wood beams, etc. The photos in the listing make the rooms look rather larger than they are, so if you don’t read the “fine print” you may be surprised to find that this is not a regular “hotel”: no daily service of rooms, no elevators, and frequently lots of steep and/or winding stairs to get to your apartment. Our unit (“Niagara”) had an alternate-step stairs to get to the (low-ceilinged) loft, and getting a big suitcase up it was pretty interesting. These are space-efficient units, high on character, low on space. I referred to the shower as a “human-sized dishwasher.” So if you are game for those considerations, you will love this place. It was clean and loaded with character. Staff was mostly helpful. The illuminated patios and walk through the center was a delight to come back to. But if you book it thinking you’re getting a typical hotel, you may be disappointed. For us, it was an economical and charming place to say in Le Marais, a wonderful area close the metro and many attractions. And no bedbugs 😁.

I loved the location. The shower was very tight in the first property and I would burn my back when it touched the hot water faucet because it was that tight. The washing machine did not work.

There was no elevator and no air condition. They provided fans though but it was still very hot. Imagine bringing 50 Lb luggages to the 5th floor with narrow stairs. It was not fun going up and down the stairs. I would recommend that the property change their old floors and tidy up the place. Jenny was nice and that’s what I want to remember about our stay but not recommending the place to anyone.

This hotel is terrible is dirty run down and nasty everything in the room is broken and when you tell the people at the front desk they think your crazy and laugh in your face had a terrible experience there

Decor and beds were great, but room and bathroom were overall pretty small. REALLY COULD HAVE USED AC

Stayed here in Apr 2018 for three nights as a family of four (kids 14 and 9) PROs: Excellent location. Staff was helpful. CONs: Wifi did not work most of the times. There's no daily cleaning. Sofa bed was not very comfortable. If you want to walk around in Paris, this is a good choice. Management needs to update Wifi setup.

This place was great! A lot of much-needed green-space in the city. It's not so much a hotel, but more of a little apartment. It's near a grocery store, so it was easy to save money by cooking in the well-equipped kitchenette. My only critique is that there is no sign...it was really hard to find, based only on the address....overall great, though!

Happy with the stay at the Hotel ..
