Great value hotel just down from Moulin Rouge, Staff were very friendly, Breakfast was included. Simple breakfast offering of cereal, croissants, bread, cheese, ham, yogurts, etc. Enough to set you up for a day's sightseeing. Our room was on the 4th floor & was clean, if a little tired. Air conditioning in room was very welcome. It had a little fridge too. It's not the Hilton, but at the price paid, was more than adequate.
Amazing place...you stay mesmerized by its beauty and details! A must see!!! Usually not so packed with tourists, since the other Paris attractions take much more attention! Walk by the square, feel inspired and take tons of pictures!
I visited Paris with one of my friends..as we came to the hotel , we got the key of the room.. we could not get out of the elevator , there was every where trash bags! i was shocked ... than the room.. not so clean at all.. i think 2 stars hotel will describe this hotel better. #neveragain!!!
me and my friends checked in,i need to mention first that the hotel is affordable with breakfast of course and very accessible to all the city sightseeing spot but the hotel itself for us was a nightmare..we found a condom plastic, we tried to manipulate the AC but the air does not cover the whole room and the worst was the itchy linens and pillows,we tried to call the reception but the telephone is not working, we tried to go out the room but the corridor was dark and we are afraid.so we slept with out jacket as our blanket.everytime my skin touches the linen, its really itchy...
We booked a room here for one night because we lost our flight home, and had to stay an extra night in Paris. As a last minute resort it was a bargain! Nice and quiet hotel and a friendly staff. Very simple breakfast in a nice, but small dining area. The building and interior is very worn, and the room was small, but it was well worth the €50 we paid! Also, the location near Montmartre and the metro is great!
The Apollo Opera is a perfectly acceptable tourist-class hotel in a great location in Paris. Very convenient to the Metro to access the rest of the City as well. The lobby is very modest; the room was basic but very clean; all the usual amenities including WiFi; a very good included Breakfast; and, best of all, a most accommodating and helpful staff. It ain't fancy but would I stay there again? Definitely!
Dirty small room with interior view with no privacy, air conditioning not functioning, heavy smell inside the room, very poor the lightening inside the room. I have asked for un upgrade for the room but I was refused. I recommend you to avoid this hotel!!!
Very very cold in winter. The heating worked, however the windows are old and the wind comes right through them. The air was sooo freezing at night that both me and my husband left with cold. The location is good, only 2min from the station and Moulin Rouge. However what you see in the pictures is not what you will see in real life. Very old, no shower only bath, towels with hair all over them, hairdryer broken, breakfast really poor: bread, ham and cheese everyday the same. No eggs, nothing warm.
First of all - not at all how it looks on the pictures they provided on booking.com.Not even close. Small half dark reception. The elevator could squeeze one person and a child and maybe a small bag.Scary.The room, exactly, room no.35,so small, narrow, even though 3 beds in it, curtains filthy with smears, walls also, with damp taps, also yellow),beds and bathrooms as something I wouldn't like to sleep in or shower...The windowsill with faeces of pigeons..staircase.....you can go out through the front door of the hotel ,only when the receptionist unlocks it,even in the afternoon....Arrived there, left immediately...The price higher than in a decent,CLEAN 3 star hotel we went later...Wouldn't recommend to any of my friends.Sorry that I didn't take any pictures to be compared with the ones they offer on the Internet...
It is a very typical hotel. It is what it is expected of a hotel in Paris at the price range. The personnel was, on the other hand, a lot more that what was expected, always trying to serve and very polite. Breakfast is very good. Location is great if your moving on the "Metro", might no be so if moving by car. Small areas in the rooms, not suitable for three adults on one room.
