So glad we found this little gem! Although I live in Paris there are times when we are going to be out late and don't want to worry about public transport home. This will be our new 'go to' hotel for those times. The price was excellent, the service was excellent (not gushy but polite), the decor was awesome (retro 70s), the breakfast (extra) was great and the location is fabulous, not far from the Elysee Palace. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location was perfect. The room spacious and the bed big and comfortable. The hotel was very clean especially the bathroom. The only negative thing was the staff which was not at all friendly and helpful despite that we both speak French. However one can overlook that because in overall it's a very value for money hotel at a great location.

The hotel is situated in a very nice area, it's clean, tidy and well kept. But the internet here is horrible, it's like in the stone age. Also, the reception need to be more friendly with guests, they are not rude but not friendly enough.

Good little hotel in an excellent location. Handy for the Metros at Madeleine and Concorde and for visiting Champs Elysees, British and American Embassies, Elysee Palace, St Michaels Church of England, Grand Palais and the many boutiques in the area. Our bedroom was clean with a very comfortable wide bed. Staff on reception very pleasant. No hesitation in recommending this hotel as a good place in a quiet spot for an overnight rest before tackling the next day's sightseeing. (Incidentally, the hotel appears to have abbreviated its name to Hotel Alison).

On a quiet street just 5 minutes walk from Madeline Metro, this is a lovely hotel to stay at in the heart of Paris and yet in a chilled out relaxed area. It’s an area of Paris that often gets overlooked but it has all you need nearby - restaurants, shops, and a theatre. We had one of the large rooms with Balcony at the front of the hotel. It was a good size for PARIS and the room was well stocked and clean. The staff were polite and helpful. We chose to eat breakfast at the cafes nearby but it does have a breakfast room in the vaulted basement. If you come in a car there is a pay for parking garage a couple of streets away.

Stayed in July for 2 nights with one child We had a room with queen bed and a sofa bed. Very roomy by European standards and had a little balcony although there was no real view, Best nights sleep of our trip so far! Staff were very helpful when asked. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The room was small but sufficient for the 2 of us; it was comfortable and clean. If you like simple European-type hotel, this is it for you; don't go there expecting amenities like you'll get in the big chain hotels. Staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was centrally located, just steps from everything. The bed was extremely comfortable. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience; would totally recommend it.

This hotel is very central with everything within walking distance, room we had was warm and comfortable, the staff were friendly breakfast is continental served to your table enjoyed it. will return to this hotel

Right in the heart of the 8th arr is this terrific little hotel... Wonderful staff, which contributed to the pleasure of the visit. Lovely breakfast room and generous breakfast...everything one wants from a hotel in Paris. Highly recommend.

This hotel has a great location, I was able to walk to most tourist attractions and it was a pretty reasonable price. The rooms are basic and a little dated but everything worked and housekeeping was thorough. I found the key strange - it was a heavy, brass key which is handed back at the desk every time you leave and retrieved once you come back. The wifi was good and they also happily looked after my bags when I arrived as it was too early to check in.
