I was only here for one night with a friend - stopping in Paris from Amsterdam before a trip to Disneyland the next day and the hotel satisfied our needs. A good bathroom with an easy to use shower, a kettle in the room, a television (we never did explore this so it might have been exclusively in French) and soundproofed windows which truly did keep the noise of the busy road outside at bay. The location was also excellent - it is near a Carrefour and two train stations: du Nord and de l'est which are both extremely handy. The room was sadly exceptionally warm and the windows, due to their soundproofing, could not be left open. It's a shame to criticise though because the owners could not have predicted the weather. The room was also what an estate agent may describe as 'cosy'. The major plus to this hotel though were the staff; they were friendly, helpful and very agreeable. My friend and I arrived incorrectly dressed way before check in and we were allowed to access a bathroom to get changed and there was a baggage store to leave our stuff. All of the people we met on the desk were happy to help and a testament to the hotel. A satisfying stay for one night; I think much longer and the size of the room might have got us down!
We visit Paris for couple of days,by chance we found Alane Hotel. Reception team is very very good, politely they welcome us and assist us in a friendly manner. My daughter loved the breakfast, food was fresh and tasty and the lady was nice and kind. All I can say is big thank you everyone.
Great location, very close to metro and train station, but very noisy room, as located on a main street. We had a room on the 6th floor and it was in a triangle shape, so you couldn't stay up in the room most of the time, just in front of the door. Clean room.
Main reason to stay here is the proximity of the train stations. The rooms are small but correct. There is double windows but there is so much noise in the streets that i spent a poor sleeping night. Price of 64€ was cheap.
We spent a night at this hotel, because it is quite close to the train stations. The sorrounding area is not very beautiful, noise all during the night, fights, ambulances, traffic... No air conditioning, so the windows remained open all the night. Room and bath quite small. Not very strong wifi signal, but free. This is really a hostel if you must survive a night in Paris, but not a real hotel.
This little hotel is a short walk from Gare D'Est and Gard du Nord, and is not somewhere I'd recommend for people with the, er, fuller figure. The rooms are small, and the showers even smaller! If you're pretty normal, though, it's a nice little' dormitory' hotel, with very friendly staff and immaculate rooms. Ours, No 32, was very recently decorated. The street outside is noisy and busy. The window blocks all of this, but as there is no air conditioning, you may be tempted to open the window - your call. WiFi throughout our sdtay worked perfectly.
Had 2 rooms on 5th floor in May, This is a small budget hotel. Handy for Gare de L'Est Metro and Gare du Nord Metro/ Eurostar and walking distance to Montmartre. Rooms are small and clean and quiet due to good double glazing. We met 4 different receptionists and all had good English , were very friendly and helpful. Having the breakfast is very useful for starting the day. They looked after our bags on our last day and this gave us a full hassle free last day. The area in cities around Railway Stations can be a bit grim, but this was fine as long as you don't hand around on the street too long, we went to the bar next door for a quick drink on 2 evenings.
Hotel was very clean, the staffs English was really good and they were all very helpful if you have questions or need to print a boarding pass, rooms are small but you're only sleeping there so it's not the end of the world. Area is a little rough, but a 40 minute walk to Notre Dame and easy tube services to places like Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomph etc, there's some lovely baguette shops within 5 minutes of the hotel, honestly we had a lovely holiday and as students we couldn't spend a lot, but his was perfect for us
The room is very small probably because we got the smallest room they have. We asked them for a different room and we were told "they are all the same" I do not think that was true. The shower was very small. The furniture is old and the room smelled ancient.
Friendly staff, good value, compact but clean and comfy room, good breakfasts and good access to both Gard Du Nord and Gard De L'Est . Hotel looked after our luggage both before checking in and after checking out so we could enjoy Paris to the max. Would stay again
