The things that we appreciated the most were the location, the hosts, the comfort, and the amazing view!I expect to be treated with kindness, friendliness, and responsiveness, and these hosts were all of the above. When we had questions or issues, they responded promptly and solved them. We even had the pleasure of meeting them when they stopped by to help with a minor issue. I also expect a comfortable bed. This bed is a little low but that turned out not to be an issue because it was comfortable and it allowed a full view from the windows.The location was amazing! My husband and I were able to walk the area for good restaurants and stores, and there were two train stations nearby to easily get to all of the tourist attractions. An added benefit was the view of the Eiffel Tower as you stroll along the Seine River or even just as you walk the neighborhood. There was a catwalk on the 2nd floor, and that was a quick way to view the sparkling tower at night. We love to walk so we walked all the way to the tower in about 20 minutes.A couple of little issues we had were the water in the shower was extremely hot or too cold to stand in. We didn't take the time to ask our hosts about it, but I imagine there was something that could have been done. There was an odor in the bathroom that reminded me of a sewer drain, but it wasn't strong. The hosts had it inspected and brought us air fresheners, toilet fresheners/cleaners to hang in the bowl, and drain cleaner. Problem solved.
