Staff were incredibly helpful and nothing was too much bother for them. Room was very good (for Paris) and reasonably priced (Again for Paris). The Location is excellent, right next to the metro and the hotel is in a street with all the shops and eateries that you might want.

Two of us took the Eurostar to Paris and booked the night at the Grand Hotel Dore a 3 star hotel located in the heart of the Daumesnil area, a stone's throw from the viaduc des Arts, one of the enchanting spots of Paris. Lovely clean and friendly hotel a hundred yards or so from the Metro, shops and restaurants all around. Lovely spot. Will definitely stay there again on my next Paris trip. Well done! Keep up the good work.

- small, but clean rooms, with comfortable beds. - no noise from the street - easy accessible and close to metro (Daumesnil, lines 6 and 8) - good breakfast - helpful and friendy staff - Wifi quality can be improved

Hotel is very close to Metro station, has good restaurants and shops nearby and the female receptionist who welcomed us on arrival was lovely, very kind and helpful. She also recommended a restaurant nearby called Le brasserie 217 for value for money, quality food and good customer service, this was true in all respects. We would highly recommend it! Our room was fairly small but this is typical of Paris, it was clean and comfortable with tv double bed drinks provisions and a mini fridge. The bathroom was perfectly adequate with a good shower. There was some noise from traffic at night but we were in a room at the front of the hotel. Breakfast was very good, with great range of traditional continental foods. The receptionists were more than willing to offer advice on how best to travel around and recommended places to visit, even offering us umbrellas one particularly rainy day! We loved our first visit to this wonderful city and would stay at this hotel again in the future!

In good location close to metro. Friendly helpful staff who offered suggestions on places to visit and provided a list of restaurants etc, comfortable room and lovely breakfast. Would definitely recommend. We had a fabulous weekend!

There had been a mix up with the room booking. We had asked for twin beds and found ourselves with a double (not the fault of the hotel). At the time I thought the receptionist could have done more, so we resolved it by my daughter booking into another hotel nearby instead. When I inquired on leaving i was told they did not have another room to offer me at that time. Room is small with traffic noise if at the front and walls between rooms do not shut out noise. I was very pleased to have a kettle in the room and a fridge for the inevitable tea! The location was very good, both for access to central Paris, and for eating out. There were so many restaurants less than 5 minutes away to choose from in the evening, which we were very pleased with. The best part, which was excellent, was the continental breakfast. There was a range of cereal, bread, croissants, cheese, meats and fresh fruit salad, as well as eggs for boiling and more. I would probably stay in this area again but somewhere quieter.

warm welcoming from the reception, small but comfortable room but unfortunately we could hear we could hear our neighboors and everything that happened in the corridor... I still recommend the place for a 1-2 night stay in Paris

Just returned from 3 night stay. Room ideal size for a couple. Very clean & modern. Everything we needed, tea making, comfortable clean bed, Great location for the Metro, tv, good shower, toiletries. Staff very helpful & friendly. Would definitely recommend or stay again when in Paris. Thank you, we loved every minute of our stay and seeing the sights of Paris.

As with any city centre hotel in Paris that I have ever stayed in the room was small (bijou, I think it is called!). This was as expected and everything was very clean. The shower room was perfectly fine. The best thing about the hotel is the location, situated very close to the metro which meant it was very easy to get anywhere in the city. Breakfast was a simple continental affair with plenty of bread, pastries, cold meats, yogurts and fruit juice. Would I stay there again, yes definitely as a place to rest your head that is well located.

Toilet & rooms are small. Lift doesn't go to 6th floor. Hotel situated close to the metro so communication is easy. A little bit expensive in terms of value for money. Not sure about the comfort if travelling with kids, cannot recommend.
