I spent 1 night in the hotel while i was in a business trip.first if all I was impressed by the warm welcome of the guy and the girl in the reception! They made you feel realy comfortable and frieniness of the staff is always important! The room is not big of course but it never is big in Paris! However is modern and very clean which is not a given in Paris.. the bathroom is also very modern and clean and in general you cannot complain for something. What i appreciate is the fact that you can see for free the TV channel Bein sports so at a champions league night you can watch the games! There is also free wifi in the room and a tablet even though i did not manage to use it at the end.. The breakfast ia decent but i would expect more. But the fact that you can have your breakfast in a couch is interesting! If the weather is nice there is an outdoor yard where you can enjoy the breakfast! Finally there is also a gym but i cannot comment since i didnt have the time to visit. Even though Champs Elysees is 2 minutes walk the hotel is located in a quite street and there is no noise. So if this is the area of Paris that you want to visit, i feel that this hotel will not let you down!
Great experience, 1 mn from the Champs Elysées, the staff is very kind and very professional. The rooms are very nice some directly facing the Eiffel Tower, but the cherry on top is when the manager revealed to us that we will be upgraded...and this is when we discovered room 702, a little charming suite with two terraces, yes two, both facing the Iron Lady...simply breathtaking...
We stayed for 4 nights. The room and bathroom were small but not unusual for Paris. Our room was really modern, and the in-room facilities were good. The cupboards light up when opened, the bed was comfortable and a good size and the shower was big (did I mention very modern?). The hotel was in a good location. Close to metro/s and short walk to Champs Élysées. The hotel staff were fantastic. Very helpful, always smiling and great to talk to. The only downfall I would say is the 25 Euro 'buffet' breakfast. For what I would say is fairly expensive, it lacked a lot of variety and not many options to choose from. The juice was very fresh though. I would come back again for sure.
My husband and I stayed here in July. The location was excellent being a two minute walk to the Champs Elysees and George V metro. The hotel is very modern and clean. There is a lovely courtyard but unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there and so were unable to sit out or breakfast there. The room was pleasant, we had no view other than the street below but still fairly typically Parisienne, The staff were most helpful and pleasant and able to advise. The breakfast was ok, I'm good with Continental breakfast so the selection was fine for me but my husband had great difficulty toasting a slice of baguette in the toaster!!! If the hotel is providing a toaster we thought sliced bread would be sensible but when we asked there was none. As we find time and again in hotels, limited tea and coffee supplies in the rooms and no milk. But otherwise a top class hotel for the money and we would recommend and return.
For those who want to be near the Champs Elysees, Hotel Atala is a great value choice - 1 block away without any of the noise. I had stayed near this hotel several times in the past & always wanted to try it because of its whimsical, avant-garde lobby -not for everyone but we found it fun. Traveling with a friend, we booked a twin room &, because we were there 6 nights, upgraded to their "prestige" room because it provided a balcony (2 chairs & small table) & view of Sacre-Couer (at a distance). Since the room was pretty small, having that outdoor space with the warm summer climate was a real plus and we enjoyed it every day. Like most European hotels, a twin literally means 2 twin beds pushed together - the disconnect was that the bedding was for one bed, as if it were a king. The staff offered to separate the beds but it would've made the room feel smaller so we managed. The highlight of this hotel was the very friendly staff. They were immediately responsive to every question, request, need, etc., and that makes or breaks any hotel stay. Two small issues that may only be pet peeves for me: (1) The shower was large with both a hand held & rain shower heads but the hand held was not usable except by hand as it didn't have an adjustable holder to be able to aim it to use as a shower when you didn't want to wash your hair (automatic with a rain shower). Also, it only had a partial door/wall so the floor always got wet. (2) The bed had only a bottom sheet and a comforter with a duvet cover. I know this is getting more common & saves laundry but in the summer, a comforter isn't usable without the air conditioning cranked up. We requested a top sheet and got another duvet cover so just used that as the top sheet/blanket. Neither of these issues affected our fine experience with this hotel and so I'd definitely recommend it.
Recently I stayed at the Atala Hotel in Paris and cannot praise it enough. It is a block and a half from the champs Elysees My room was airy, well equipped and comfortable (it even had an Nespresso coffee machine) it had a small but efficient bathroom with both shower and bath with 24/7 hot water The staff were polite and more than helpful especially Helene and Roberto who made every effort to make us feel that we were at home and welcome as well as providing us with restaurant reservations, recommendations and addresses.
Atala hotel is located at Rue De Chateaubriand which is 100 steps to Champs Elysees; just across Louis Vuitton store. Standard rooms are small but executives are really nice and newly decorated. It offers very nice (open buffet type with fruits, Nutella, eggs etc.. ) breakfast which is not easy to find in Paris. Hotel decoration is very chic and modern with a nice private garden. All top locations, including Eiffel Tower, is at walking distance or use George V Metro station (also 100 steps) for other locations. Friendly staff. Highly recommended if you want good location in Champs Elysees.
The Hotel Atala was a pleasure to stop in. I visited with my wife for a romantic weekend away. The lady on reception (didn't catch her name) was extremely welcoming, and very helpful giving us a map and great tips of how to get around the city. We arrived mid Saturday morning so the city was just waking up when we arrived. The decor in the hotel reception, and the outside grounds were spectacular. The modern artwork in the reception was beautiful. There were however a few minor disappointments that we experienced whilst stopping in the hotel. The room itself although very comfortable and well equipped is starting to look dated, a face lift this year new light fittings, and a few modern touches would really help. I can understand the room is supposed to have an art deco feel to it but an update is really needed. The other downside was that we went to the bar to get a bottle of water for our room. They added the water to our bill at the value of nine euros!! Nine Euros for a bottle of water is a silly amount for any hotel. Other than them two minor details the hotel was a dream to stop in. The location is wonderful. You are minutes from the Champs Elsees. And the main shopping areas (great for my wife, not so much for me).
We stayed at Hotel Atala for 6 days. It consistently showcased their excellent service and dedication to their guests on every level. It is a small boutique hotel that is charming and unique in an excellent location with proximity to the main sights of Paris. If one chooses to walk and savour every moment of the picturesque sights then walking is the way to go. Other days we used the Metro which was a 2 min. walk from the hotel. The closest Metro is George V. The Metro is fast and easily accessible, moreover inexpensive. The hotel is approx. a 5 min. walk to Arc de Triomphe, 15 min. walk to the Eiffel Tower and Place de Concorde, and La Seine. We thoroughly enjoyed a 30 min. walk along La Seine to L Ouvre. The director and staff of the hotel are fantastic. Service is efficient and always with a warm and friendly attitude. They were so helpful, welcoming and approachable and most of all very patient in answering our many questions! The breakfast at the hotel was full of variety and fresh local products. It was such a relaxing ambiance to eat and then relax in their beautiful patio. In the evenings it lights up so romantically and ensures relaxation. We couldn`t have asked for a better place. What made it so incredible was the feel of a mini getaway from the hustle and bustle of a busy day in Paris. It is nestled in just a little side street away from the Champs Elysee, escaping into calm and beauty. We had a balcony on the 6th floor. Our room opened to double doors overlooking Paris and we had a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower. It was such a treat to rest and look at the Tower sparkle like diamonds at night. The room was so spacious and modern with two other separate rooms. One was just the toilet and the other was a beautiful bathroom with a deep bathtub and a separate glass shower. Every detail of the room was so appreciated including the ipad and free wifi in the room. Furthermore the cleanliness was to be noted. Sheets and towels were changed daily and the freshness of the room was evident. The balcony was always cleaned as well. We would definitely return and we are recommending this hotel to our family and friends.
We stayed at this hotel for two nights. I chose it for its location as it is only a few minutes walk from Champs Elysee and the Arc de Triomphe. Checking in was fine and the staff were very friendly. The room was a little dated and rough around the edges but was very comfortable overall. The closest Metro stop is George V which is situated on the Champs Elysee near the Louis Vuitton store (my wife in her element there). We took a guided bus tour around the centre of Paris and one of the stops is situated on the Champs Elysee near the Arc roundabout. We didn't eat in the hotel at all so I can't comment on this. The wifi in the room was fine with a good speed on our devices. In conclusion this is a very good Boutique hotel and it's location is excellent. I would certainly stay there again.
