Booked via Rocketmiles (would recommend to as you gain a lot of miles for your preferred airline reward program). Apartment for 2 adults, 3 children. The beds are excellent unlike the service and the overall condition of the apartment. Rate was without breakfast, no big deal, given the very poor breakfast offered. However, asked for a coffee from the coffee machine in the breakfast room and got the advice to go the bar at the end of the small street. This is poor. At check in you will receive a 4-digit code for the entrance and and a 7-digit code for the lift. Must be a dangerous area (which it is not). There are supermarkets around for necessary supplies - good when you travel with children. Don't expect too much from this hotel. It is pricey and does not keep the promise you were given on the internet. Location is okay if you would like to stay in the Paris without tourists. Metro is a 10 min. footwalk away and brings to Marais in about 15 min. Next time in Paris I will avoid this hotel.
We had looked at many options for Paris, both hotels and private rentals and Adagio fitted the bill . We booked a 1 bedroom room but were upgraded to a 2 bedroom (there were only 2 of us) our room 616 was at the back of the hotel a quiet area with a huge terrace going the length of the apartment, only negative here was we only had 1 outdoor chair . The kitchen area was well equipped with all you would need including dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid a washing cloth and sponge and extra bin bags. on our floor was a bin area for taking your full bags (great idea) we had a large dining table and a sofa bed 2 televisions one in the lounge and 1 in the double bedroom (no English TV channels though) there were lots of cupboards and hanging space for clothes but not in the bedrooms themselves. there was an iron , ironing board and hoover No hairdryer though . our apartment had 2 showers one over a bath that soaked the floor upon each use (heated towel rail dried towels needed for mopping up) and another with a shower cubicle and sink . the toilet was separate but a tiny room and no sink (plenty of spare toilet rolls) the Beds had foam mattresses which we found a bit too firm but the pillows were nice. We paid to have bed and breakfast , the breakfast didnt have a great variety but was sufficient for our needs , you could squeeze your own orange juice using a scary machine , the only negative were the , egg cups , mugs, tea spoons , eggs and oranges did run out on occasion . The are of the hotel is great for transport links into Paris via the fantastic metro ( the Jourdain metro had a ticket machine that didnt take notes so be warned ) and has many shops and restaurants close by. dont make the mistake we did by shopping at Lidl because we passed by it , Simply market shop at the end of the road is a great shop, we also shopped in the local bread shop pastry shop and markets If we visit Paris again we would book this hotel again
My family of 6 (kids 17, 15, 12, 9) visited for 4 days in late June. The good: price (considering this is Paris), location (easy walk to a couple metro stations), good size, on-site laundry available. The OK: breakfast (some breads, cereal, meat/cheese slices), in-room wifi not strong. The bad: no air conditioning, no room service or trash removal. All in all, I would go again ... but definitely not in the middle of Summer.
If you're travelling in group in which a member of the group need a wheelchair, then this hotel is NOT for you. Access with wheelchair, while it's not impossible, but nevertheless difficult. Hallway, elevator, and door are small. If your group is using a minivan, then don't park inside. The direct access to the lobby is closed, so the drop-off could be done either in the middle of a one-way street (around 50 m from hotel), or on the cramped basement parking. The basement however only have 2.1 m ceiling. So a minivan would just fit, and nearly missed from scratching the roof. Rooms were small and quite clean. Room facilities were complete, from the kitchenette to the bathroom. The hot water diminished though on the third day, only lukewarm water in the shower! A self-serving laundry was available on the ground floor for €5 and €2.5 for drying. It's a bit pricey but you don't have to prepare the soap, as the machine has it automatically. Staffs were friendly though and some were helpful. They even help with the luggage when we're checking out. Overall Adagio is best when you're travelling on a budget, as long as you don't require wheelchair.
We booked this hotel after reading all the great reviews and having great amenities near by. We planned our routes and places to eat around the hotel. We arrived in Paris only to be told by the hotel that the current customer staying in our room wanted to extend their holiday therefore we will have to stay in another hotel. They found us another Adagio hotel but this was on the other side of Paris. After driving for over 7 hours with 3 children, this was not a great start to our holiday. The staff were unapologetic and did not seem to understand our frustration. Repeatedly he kept saying "there's a good metro system". ! They gave us free parking at the other hotel but this does not by all means come close to compensating the distress and anger of being turned away from a booking that was booked in advance. Dreadful customer service!!
Good location, hotel is between two metro lines, range of good value restaurants within walking distance, space in our apartment good , apartment clean and relatively well equipped, well designed layout,
Stayed here for 3 nights during our visit to Paris. It is located near 2 metro stations and is easily accessible. Most of the attractions are about 30mins metro ride away, hence it is more quiet in this area. There are a few restaurants within walking distance from the apartment. The apartment was great with a fully equipped kitchen and all the basic amenities you would need. The staffs are all very helpful and friendly. Only little complain is that the free wifi is not very strong. Recommended if you wish to stay in a quieter area.
This is an inexpensive condo-hotel in the 19th. Yes, the 19th doesn't have any sights. It's a residential area without much interest. That means it's quiet. This hotel is a few minutes' walk from not just one, but two metro stops. This makes getting to "the good stuff" (or train/airport connections) a breeze. We stayed on the sixth floor and didn't hear anything all week. Furthermore -- a kitchen in Paris. This cut the cost of a week in Paris in half -- we only ate out at restaurants which really interested us. And we made one or two meals in the room every day. I would gladly stay here again.
My wife and I used this apart-hotel as our base for a two week holiday in Paris. We were warmly greeted when we arrived and the staff spoke English which helped my wife as her French language skills extend to "Patisserie and Gateaux" ( she survives!). The facilities were good, the room had a lounge area although the sofa was actually a pull out extra bed and could do with being a bit more comfortable for people who are staying for more than just a short break. The small kitchen had a microwave and a 4 ring hob for cooking and had a fridge, kettle, coffee maker and a dish washer. There is an on site laundry facility which uses coin operated machines and ironing facilities were included in the room. The bathroom / shower was equipped with a hair dryer and a supply of basic toiletries. The room was cleaned and bed changed once a week for bookings lasting over 1 week and was well done. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Basic internet access is included and available in each room and you can upgrade for a small weekly fee. I registered for the free one but when I tried to upgrade to the paid service neither I nor the staff could reset it so I had to wait for the week to run out to upgrade for the second week but the connection was not much better. TV is in French with some channels catering to other nationalities but i could not access any in English. The location was in a quiet traffic free road, gated at each end but publicly accessible. There is a supermarket within 100 metres which was very good for us as we self catered,( there is a breakfast available at the hotel for an additional cost but we never tried it so can't really comment). Transport is easily accessible nearby as there are 3 Metro stations within a 5 minute walk. My wife is a wheelchair user and we found the Metro impossible to use so we resorted to the bus service which was a 5 min walk from the hotel and 1 bus took us directly to the centre of Paris (stops just beside the Louvre) The buses cater well for disabled passengers, every bus is accessible and there is a reserved space for wheelchairs. The hotel was near a very nice park ( it's named after it) and there is a primary school across the road from it so there was some noise during the day but it was the happy sound of children enjoying themselves. There was some noise from the street at night but this was again children playing. We enjoyed our stay and found it good value.
The apartment hotel is excellent with a great location near the Park Buttes Chaumont. This would be a great vacation. There is easy access to the metro Botzaris. Near the metro there is a great Boulangerie which is a 3minute walk from the hotel. The park has many walking/running trails that lead to scenic views of the city of Paris. Beds are comfortable and the staff is courteous. I don't recommend the hotel breakfast because it is not fresh and costs 12 Euros. There are small kitchens in the hotel rooms with coffee makers and a water boiler. The hotel does not clean rooms daily. Only every 8 days.
