The price is reasonable, the cabin is very small yet cozy, but there is no wifi or phone service.

We loved the night sky and the campfire. The hot breakfast was excellent, especially the variety of hot drinks. Staff working there were friendly. It was a great trip and we plan to go back every year.

This property was great for entering Death Valley. I stayed in a site with the tent and cots already there (kinda like glamping). This worked out perfect after a long drive. The tents were well ventilated (able to see the stars on all sides), and cots were nice and high ( allowing stuff to store underneath). The gentlemen working at the check in desk and at the restaurant on site were very nice and helpful! They truly had great customer service skills. Because of that I would come again and stay longer. Looking forward to what these new owners are aspiring to do with the property. Thank you for a wonderful stay and respite from a 6 hr drive.

Very basic rooms, but a great location and the small restaurant had good food. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Prices expensive but likely the same throughout Death Valley.

Great location, simple accommodations, good breakfast

Really old outdated facility, The restaurant on site offers terrible food including a mandatory 15% tip for mediocre service.

I liked the location. Food is good but expensive. Water drain didn't work well. Unique experience but one night was enough.

Some would complain about the facilities - but this is a rustic place in the middle of Death Valley. If you want amenities, you would not stay here. The property is perfect for what it is....

Provides an excellent lodging for people in need after a hot day out in Death Valley. Amenities are basic but fine.

Quaint little desert oasis. Perfect for enjoying Death Valley.

Good location in the middle of nowhere where you can relax. Good restaurant

We were quite surprised how small this room was. Literally, one step to the entrance; one step to the bathroom; one step from the toilet to the shower, all from the queen size bed. We almost walked sideways, being so tight. Our luggage all accessible from the bed. If they have told us in advance, we would have expected but since the photos gave illusion of a more room than actual very tight room, when we open the door, "Wow! Bed, right here!" The room would look better w/ a bunk bed rather than the queen size bed so tight in the room. Two of us could hardly move around in the room, so we took turn to be off the bed. Mostly, we talked outside of the room, in the front porch. Taking in the room was way too close for comfort. Yeah. Had we known the tight room, we might not be this shocked. However, the room was clean & the bedding was in a great shape.

mold in shower, carpeting in bathroom, 4" hole in wall. carpeting looks very dirty, tho it is same color as the dirt outside the room. we drank in the bar until it was time to sleep, so we had no waking hours in the disgusting room.

I stay there one night. The only trouble is that you can never connect to their wifi, and there is no cell phone signal. So let you family know before you come. The room is ok, bed is comfort.
