We asked for a room on the first floor via Expedia messaging system, but when we arrived, we were told that there's none left. The receptionist was very courteous, kind, and professional, but we would not return here again. You need to pay more attention to the guests' requests in the future and at least let them know ahead that their requests might not be met. The place is very hard to find from China Lake Ave. It is small, sandwiched in between other bigger buildings, and easily missed. The parking area was huge and easy to maneuver though. The room was ok, but there's a problem with both your bathtub and your sink. They both do not drain well, especially the sink. Your A/C unit was mounted at the worst place possible. We did not feel enough air as it was blocked by the bed. For a motel in mid of the Mojave, you need to ensure a better cooling system.
