The hotel was comfortable, clean, conveniently located. Beautiful views. Room was comfortable. Staff was Great and I highly recommend the Hilton Panama. The breakfast was also delicious. Great hotel for Your visit to Panama.
The hotel was good, though not 5 stars in every detail,i guess. Rooms very spacious, the oceanview rooms are great, sitting on a balcony with pacific bay view was simply stunning, rooms were well equipped too. Housekeeping forgot to put new towels and forgot to clean leftovers from people who were in the room before (empty cans, trash),no bathrobe and no slippers although they should have been there, you had to tell them to get things done. Breakfast was good (i cannot confirm about the breakfast stuff being not refilled etc, there was plenty of it all the time). Staff was nice and helpful, roomservice was good too,the food was very tasty. Overall worth a visit.i would recommend that hotel.ocean view rooms are an absolute must.i would come back.
Very nice hotel with outstanding beautiful rooms. I was disappointed with the management after they "tried" to make a mistake right by upgrading us to a jr suite prior to our arrival, but when we arrived at 9pm it was not ready so they wanted to downgrade us. I was disappointed as Diamond members....but Rafael at the exec lounge made up for it. He was extremely attentive and very cordial to my wife and I. He really made a previously bad experience great! He speaks great English and is the reason we would come back again. Also, Louis the concierge was also wonderful and very helpful setting up car rides.
The rooms are beautiful, and the views are lovely. The main lobby is on the 10th floor, with excellent amenities and meeting rooms. I was there on business and the hotel personnel were terrific to work with and very accommodating. For business or pleasure, quick uber ride to Casco Vieja and the CANAL, do not miss either!!
Everyone at this Hilton is so happy and helpful in every way. We spent some time in the executive lounge and Rafael treated us so well. He made sure we were comfortable and happy with everything and served us wine and food. I have stayed at many hiltons and my experience with the employees at this one is by far the best. Can't beat this hospitality. Thank you Rafael!!
The location can't be beat. The hotel is very new and the rooms (mine was a balcony room with ocean views) were very spacious and the finishes were nice. The restaurants and bars, pool area, and gym were all very well laid out and wherever possible took advantage of the views, creating many sitting areas you want to enjoy. The hotel staff was top notch. I've never experienced such high-quality service anywhere in Panama. The level of customer service would be impressive in the US, but in Panama it is unheard of.
The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the gym is absolutely outstanding. The view from the room was spectacular and well worth the money. When we arrived there were a few things that were wrong with the room, but they were quickly resolved to our satisfaction. We were there for business but had a day to tour around and the staff were quick to offer suggestions and arrange transportation. One negative is that when you are paying your bill at the restaurant, they check will say "Tip Not Included", guess what, it already is (10%). As a Spanish speaker I asked the waiter what is this, I was told that if I want to give over the 10%, that isn't included...WHAT??? (I've attached a photo). Other than that, this hotel is very nice and should be considered as a great place to stay. A short drive or good walk to the old part of town and if you like casinos it is attached to the hotel.
Due to the need to stay in Panama City overnight in order to catch our connecting flights, on this occasion the Hilton Panama was selected as the place to stay (twice 1 night in-bond and 1 night out-bond). Overall the hotel is quite good. The location is not bad,(though the main entrance next to the crowded casino and the reception somewhere in the L2 makes it a little difficult if you are in a hurry). .The rooms were spacious and confortable and offer all the needed basic amenities, the bed was amazingly confortable. There is, free wi-fi everywhere. However the TV did not work and took them a long time until someone came to fix it. Breakfast was a little bit disappointing. In house taxi service is extremely overpriced.
Water pressure level on the bathroom was extremely low especially with the shower. Besides, the pressure was not good with the basins as well. Sleep quality was almost perfect and the bed was so comfortable.
Flew in for a BRIEF trip. Really only had a day a half. The day we arrived it was overcast. We were early and while they prepared our room, we met with the concierge, Marcalino. This was the best thing we did. He was amazing. patient, informative, fun. We told him that we only had one full day (the next day). he set us up with a private guide for the next day. We headed to the pool while they prepared our room. It began to drizzle and we had the pool to ourselves. We sat in the covered poolside bar and and had cocktails. It was perfect. Marcalino eventually brought us our keys and walked us to our room. He made a dinner reservation for us and set up a cab. Perfect. The next day our tour guide arrived at 8:30am. His name was Roberto and he was amazing. A local guy with great English, amazing stories, and very knowledgeable. We toured the canal, went shopping in local markets and spent the afternoon at a private white sand beach eating plates of shrimp and plantains. We with Roberto for 11 hours and it only cost us $165 per person. I wish I remembered the name of the tour company. I don't. If you find Marcalino he can tell you. None of it would have been possible without Marcalino. Hotel had beautiful views and the restaurants were fantastic.
