Comfortable king bed, feather pillows and soft towels. Spacious room with view of the bay. Easy checkin and central postion to everything. There are restaurants behind if you like to explore. Only improvement would be umbrellas for pool with more comfortable sunbeds. Great hotel.
The Hotel is very nice Hotel and it's location is convenient for the month of November because the Parade passes directly in front of the hotel. Some of the Staff needs a little training on customer service and reporting incidents!!!
I recently stayed at this property for a conference. The conference facilities were excellent along with the food served for the meetings. The room was great as well. It was a city view room but offered a patio and a view of the ocean although somewhat on an angle. The room was large and the bed was extremely comfortable. One feature that was great was there was a switch by the bed that turned off all lights in the room without having to walk around. There is restaurant service right by the pool that was excellent food and reasonably priced. A great place to eat while staying at the hotel. The property is well maintained and very clean. The only reason that the room didn't get five stars instead of four was a couple of items. One - The only drawers for clothes were in closet or beneath TV and were not much more than a table drawer. Hardly able to fit anything. Two - Maid service was hit and miss. Some days glasses weren't exchanged, towels not replaced even though placed on floor, soap or shampoo exchanged only a few times for a week stay. Minor items but still an irritant. Overlooking the small deficiencies the hotel overall is excellent and was an extremely pleasant stay for a conference.
Superb service. Very well trained and experienced Service staff, timings, overall experience. Talks a lot about Thor organization and focus on Service in general. Menu was quite large. Had two soups two salads. Servings were very generous. Large lentil bowl soup which I could have every day if I could and a standard Greek salad which was seasoned to perfection with the dressing and really large as well. The other was a Caesar salad and tomato soup which was really good too. We were taken here by a local, it's a shame we would have not been able to get there by ourselves if not recommended by others. Definitely give it a try , prices were fair and well in the medium-high range but for a really really good experience. All in all.
Thank you Peter for accommodating the time consuming requests at check in. Thank you for the wonderful upgrade. Will recommend this facility to other team members, friends and family in the near future
Everyone at the hotel was great. The gentleman at the front desk who checked us in and who worked evenings most of the nights we were there was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. All of the hotel staff were great with helping us to find transportation, great places to eat, ready with a corkscrew when we needed a bottle of wine opened! We truly enjoyed our stay. Housekeeping does great work as well. The rooms were extremely clean! The room itself was absolutely amazing. The bathroom was awesome, too! Definitely the largest hotel room I have ever stayed in without it being a suite! The fitness center is the size of a small gym. They have everything you need! The gift shop is great as well. Super selection! I only had one complaint for our stay, and it is quite minor. There was only one washcloth in the room. We asked a couple of people for them. After two days, we finally got two one morning. We left shortly after, and by the time we returned to the room, housekeeping had cleaned our room and had taken our washcloths before we were ever able to use them. Aside from this, we couldn't have asked for a better experience! We loved it!
This hotel is great for business and travel, good breakfast! Good amenities! Beautiful swimming pool! Excellent location and views! The rooms are nice ....not very functional though in terms of ligthing ...the service was great! The casino is a must do!
The first thing that you notice with this hotel is that the reception desk is not on the ground floor and it is not quite clear where to go. Check in was fast and very friendly. Room was excellent with very good, if not private, bathroom. TV would not work but was quickly fixed by a happy odd job man. Views of Panama Bay were great. The main bar is completely lacking in atmosphere and not helped by staff who don't know or dont care. Room service menu was pretty limited. Breakfast was ok but the service was very slow. A good choice of hotel if a little overpriced compared to similar hotels in Panama City
Modern hotel with all the fittings you expect in a hotel of this level. Nice buffet breakfast, the gym is very well equipped, nice pool. Not a place for holidays but if you are in Panama for business it is a good place to be. They should only do something about the water pressure on the shower.
No privacy with frosted glass sliding bathroom door that doesn't shut completely - about 1.5 inch gap. Shower door doesn't close well resulting in puddle on marble/tile floor after showering. No bathtubs. Skimpy bath mat doesn't help much. Had other family staying there too and they had same bathroom issues. Glass door also allows light into bedroom, which is not good if someone is sleeping. Rollaway beds are extreme hard; main bed very soft - too soft for my liking - and sags a bit in the middle. Also - king is not an American king sized bed; it's a little smaller. Not an ideal room design for families. Remote control for tv might be a bit challenging; my parents had problems figuring it out. Nice staff. Very good breakfast and exercise facility. Although this hotel does have many good qualities, I gave it a two overall because of the beds and the bathroom, which were most important to us and affected us the most.
