The service was not very good, and the facilities (the pool was full of mold and dirty) and the rooms were dusty and smelled damp. Honestly, it has really declined a lot. The food wasn’t very good either; it’s not like it used to be.

The first rooms on the first floor 141 & 139 was horrible. But the room was change to the 8 floor 801&806 the rooms was prefect nice an clean i loved them rooms. Staff was prefect even though i was mad at them for putting us in the first rooms they still was professional.

The customer service and the restaurant was great! But, when it comes to the rooms it is not pleasant. The rooms need a urgent upgrade, repaint, and deep clean. As soon as you enter the rooms (booked two rooms) both had a bad smell, both baths had mold and taking a shower wasnt something you were enjoying. The windows are extremely dirty. Althought, the hotel is nice I do recommend an extreme attention to the rooms and baths.

We were placed on the 1st floor next to the conference room and there was an event which was loud. All we could hear was loud music. I asked to move and the guy at front desk and he said there were no available rooms. We arrived after 6pm and we were asking for towels until after 9pm. We were then told there were no clean towels. We had to whatever we had to dry. This was all one night By the morning of the 2nd day we had maggots coming up the bathroom drain. However the young lady at front desk provided excellent service and changed the room immediately. The new room didnt have towels but she went to house keeping and brought them up. She went above and beyond. The room had mildew on the shower curtain and the ac vents needed cleaning. Other than that breakfast was good.

I was there with my mom for my birthday. The check in process was very slow, my room wasn’t ready and there were a few minor details with the aesthetics like no hot water at times and some repairs going on, but other than that my stay was nice. Very comfortable room and bed, courteous staff. Great driver to the airport (Luis)! I’m glad my room was far from the pool! The time I was there there was a huge pool party. Also the food in the main dining room was delicious! Thanks for a great stay!

The room was dirty when I checked in! As nice as the hotel is I was extremely disappointed! The Ford were very sorry and hair everywhere! I complained 4 times in 24hrs and no one came to clean so I just checked out and I need my money back I had to sleep on a sheet I travel with on the couch..

Room was in good condition outdated thogh no charging plugs near. Nightstands ..... Pool bar was not open, so had to change clothes to go to inside base I charge clothes to go back into the pool.

Overall we had a good experience at Hotel El Panama. The check-in staff was nice although we couldn't check in early. The pool was great, large and enough room to separate (sort of) from the kids area. The swim up bar had all the stools missing which was a bummer and a quick way to lose business cause we would have camped out over there! The room was pretty good. The bathroom and shower were wild. See through and not real sound barrier. You're one with your roommate! Hope you're not shy! The breakfast was decent as well. We did have pizza by the pool and it was fabulous! With all the options in Panama City, we'll try a new place next time.

The facilities and the hotel are fairly old and poorly maintained. The property was clean and Overall if they updated some of the stuff it would be a great hotel/stay. The breakfast was great but some of the people preparing the eggs were fairly inexperienced which resulted in long queues. Customer service was slow it took them 3 days to fix an issue in our room (stayed for 7 nights) The pool was really good but there is a tape filter they use for the water I am not sure why but that needs to be changed

First rooms smelled and bathrooms were deplorable. After changing rooms there were issues with the A/C temperature and shower drain was slow. Staff tried their best.
