This hotel was incredibly underwhelming and filthy. Upon our arrival, we noticed that the carpet in the lobby was stained and littered with crumbs. The staff at the desk was not helpful nor pleasant and gave us false information about check out times. When we entered our room, we were met with dirty linens and a carpet that looked as if it had not been vacuumed since the hotel first opened in 2014. When booking this hotel, we had no idea that our reservation included complimentary toenail clippings near the bed and hair in the bathroom drain. When the issues with our room were brought to the staff's attention more than once, they laughed at the absurdity of the situation and offered no solution. In addition to the issues with the cleanliness of our room, we also experienced problems with our shower. The water took over three minutes to come to a temperature that was tolerable to shower in and the faucet barely let out a trickle. Periodically, the water would become scalding hot and then freezing cold. The last night of our stay coincided with New Year's Eve as well as an all night rager that ended at 5:30 in the morning. Between the music loud enough that our beds vibrated and the incessant fireworks, we got little to no sleep. When we inquired about a delayed check out, we were told that we would have to pay an exorbitant fee. We would not recommend the Sortis hotel to anyone who likes clean sheets, pleasant showers, and a good night of sleep.

This my 2nd time staying at this hotel and it did not disappoint. Check in/out was a breeze. I love the dining options and the room service options. The hotel is in the heart of downtown so it’s walkable. There is always an uber 1-2 mins away so really great transportation options. I didn’t utilize the bar or casino. The spa was AMAZING! I had a 80 minute Swedish massage and loved the massage tech I had.The hotel was nice and clean, including the rooms. I love that you can’t get to the room floors unless you have a keycard because the elevators won’t move until you swipe. Your key is programmed for your floor only so you can utilize the rest of the hotel amenities, but you won’t be able to go to another floor you’re not staying on. The views from the 11th floor were nice as I caught a Christmas fireworks show. The police are in the building once the front desk closes and are around the property all day so it’s extremely safe. The staff are always top tier and go above and beyond. Whenever I’m in Panama City I will continue to stay at this hotel.

Hotel and the room were very clean, Nescafé coffee in room or also available for a fee in cafe. Nice views of the city. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The hotel has 3 restaurants on site. We liked the Lebanese one the best.
