This is a great place to stay very friendly and safe our room was great we were there in 2017 first time for me I am going next month and staying here can’t wait was scheduled last year but my friend had emergency surgery I would recommend this place to everyone
Our experience was overall enjoyable. Weather was great, view from room balcony was gorgeous, beds comfortable, shower/tub clean and a good size. I liked having a door to the balcony instead of those heavy sliding glass doors. The hotel is under roof repair while we were there, understandable, but noisy. The staff were all very cordial and friendly. This is a suggestion to the Manager of the hotel..it would have been helpful if your staff members informed me that alcohol was not permitted on the beach in March, when I bought 2 beers at the Registration desk would have been a time to do that. I saw no notice at the hotel, or on walk way from hotel to the beach of alcohol ban. I understand that ignorance of the law is no excuse, however, when a law is only in effect for 1 month, a reminder does not seem to be out of your way to inform paying guests. I have not been to the beach in more than 10 years, so I was not aware of this ban. It cost me $560 in fines for me and my wife for having a beer on the beach. Thank you, Florida. See ya next year, or not. Probably not ever again.
We have never found a nicer place to stay. The people are phenomenal, words can’t even do them justice. So friendly and make you feel like family. It is a family owned place and it’s so neat how they do everything to make you feel at home. It’s everything you could need and more. If you haven’t stayed here then you are missing out. Views from your decks are perfect and the trip downstairs to beach and back couldn’t be easier!!! Nathan, Doug, Lisa....you guys are amazing and all the staff. We love you guys! See you again in June!
Our room was very clean and had a small (adequate) kitchen. The location is excellent with the beach practically in the resort, restaurants and shopping in walking distance and the pier close by. As in most properties the higher you can get the better the view and quieter the ambient noise.
Stayed two nights in March at the Osprey on the Gulf, warm welcome when we arrived, free parking and had a room on 6th floor wonderful views. There is a small kitchen area in the room and a very large room and balcony. Directly on the beach with nice relaxing chair and subbed areas along with BBQ for use. Lovely hotel right on the beach highly recommend.
I stayed at the Osprey in early February, 2019. The room was on the 6th floor and had a FANTASTIC view of the Gulf. It was very relaxing in the evening to wind down and watch the waves come in to the beach. The resort was quiet and clean. Everything worked in my room, which came with a small kitchen. The decor is a bit dated, but it was clean and fully functional. The best part of all, the hotel is within walking distance to nearly EVERYTHING in Panama City Beach! The staff was friendly; and, Dennis (the night watchman) was very helpful at offering advice for things to do in the area. The only negative for this hotel is that there is not an on-site restaurant. But, that really didn't matter since it was so very close to many great restaurants.
While this wasn't a planned stay and it wasn't for pleasure, it was more than enough to warrant a review and perhaps a return stay. We basically came in off the street after the Hampton Inn lost our res. and they accommodated us. A nice size room with kitchen and two beds, balcony overlooking the ocean, and convenient location. Checking in and out was a breeze and the place was very clean. Very good stay all around.
Read many trip advisor reviews before I booked And I have to admit that everything was exactly as Everyone said it would be... Very clean and worth a visit Definitely recommend if you travel to Panama City Beach.. We stayed during a very busy weekend and never had trouble finding a parking spot..
We attempted to stay here for a week, but Hurricane Michael had other plans! We ended up staying 3 nights but would have loved to stayed the entire week. The location is excellent. You are walking distance to Pier Park. The rooms and balconies are spacious. The kitchen is well appointed. It was very clean and the front desk is very nice. It was great, for the money we paid....a typical beach hotel!
We love the Osprey on the gulf! It does not disappoint, everything has been perfect. From the staff to the beach,we love it. Tiki bar with hamburgers, hot dogs, frozen drinks. There is a bar across the street, good for night time. You will enjoy!
