Condo needs some upgrades

Location was great and it was fine for what we needed, but I wouldn’t go back. The location was quiet and away from all the main vacation goers which we didn’t mind at all. Condo looked great when we arrived but as the day passes we determined it needed some help. There were no baking sheets in the kitchen and only one frying pan that wasn’t great. The knobs on the stove had no writing. All the print has been worn off. There were pillows stacked in the closets, but none of them had pillow cases. The master bath had one hand towel and two wash cloths. The couches were stained and very wore out. By the end of the trip my back hurt from sitting on the couches. The furniture on the balcony needs to be replaced. It was rusty and paint was coming off. The maintenance people were very nice. We had to call them twice while we were there. The glass globe fell off and broke in one of the bedrooms and one of the toilets needed to be repaired. They were quick and friendly. The condo didn’t ruin our time in PCB, but we would not stay here again.

Thanksgiving Break

The condo was clean and looked as it did on the website. The kitchen was well appointed for the exception of baking sheets. We could not get the pool code to work on any of the doors. We tried everything. Being a holiday week, there was not anyone onsite to assist. We emailed the property managers, and they did respond, but there was nothing to be done. We were not able to use either of the pools, hot tubs or workout facility which was disappointing. The couches were a bit worn, but comfy. The beds were fine as well. Overall, we had a nice week.

Everything was great, but….

The condo was great, view great , but beach service not good. We’ve stayed at Celadon for 5 years now. The beach service has always been great. Not this year! We’ve always had someone come ask if we needed anything or our umbrella moved. We were told to move our chairs to get in the shade of the umbrella. Not good customer service at all. We’ll be back, but hoping beach service is like it was last year and years before.

Great place to get away!

Great place to stay. Only concerns were some upgrades on couches (stains) mattress in bedroom with two beds (double needs to be replaced )and outdoor furniture needs some TLC. Loved the wraparound balcony. Would stay there again. Elevators were quick for the time of year we stayed.

Nice but not blown away

We stayed at this property last year. Last year's condo was nicer and more updated. This condo seemed not as nice and wasn't overly clean. Didn't appreciate getting a parking ticket for parking under the condo when we had a free parking space and code to park under there. There should be communication with the owners and property mgt and not bring vacationers into communication issues.

Great Stay

Great overall stay. We really enjoyed our time! It was clean, convenient location, easily accessible. My only concern I had is that the doors on the living room didn’t have a lock so my toddler could push the doors open and get on the balcony… that really needs to be fixed. Other than that, awesome stay.

Great Views but Needs Updating

The condo itself has amazing views. There are dings on the walls but that is unavoidable with the number of suitcases in and out. The vacuum cleaner shoots out sand when you turn it on, the toaster is gross, mixer is caked with stuff, the dishwasher was either not ran or the dishwasher wasn't working, broken flower pot, master shower door is broken on frame at bottom, and kitchen cabinets plastic coating is coming off. The pool code didn't work, so we called the customer service number. We were told that they didn't have another code, so we should figure it out from another guest and call them back with the updated code. I didn't cook due to the lack of cleanliness of the utensils and small appliances. We did kill a few live roaches. A few little updates could make this ok place an amazing place.

Great View

Pros- Great View, comfortable, elevators were fast, quiet location. Cons- Kurig coffee maker-broken, pots and pans need replacing, lock on sliding door to balcony missing, vase on TV stand was broken and pushed against wall to keep together, knob on kitchen faucet sprayer missing. Mater bedroom bed, very noisy. Easy fixes, however after trying to contact owner or management through email per there request, no response. I would recommend this place, however they do need to do some simple repairs.

Celadon Beach Condo

Summary of our Stay in 1409 Celadon

Summary of our stay: Master bedroom: Bed sleeps fine, little creaky Drain in bathroom is slow Toilet takes a while to flush Towels, bathroom floor, bathroom sink had numerous long black hairs Black hairs all on comforter Living room/kitchen area: White plant pot broken in half on the table with tv Sprayer on sink is broken Twin guest room: Mattresses are BAD, especially the bed close to the window Long black hairs in bathroom, towels, sink, floor Entire unit has a nice layout, very spacious for our crew. Beautiful view! We enjoyed our stay. Condo needs new paint on all the walls. The unit was not completely clean. There were long black hairs on our towels and on the bed comforters. Those hairs were also on the floors and in shower of bathroom. They did not dust or vacuum/sweep the floor. Sand everywhere. We would like to have the cleaning fee refunded please as we had to do this cleaning when we arrived for our week stay.

I would stay again

Overall the condo was good! The kitchen was well stocked! The scratches on the walls that some complained about can’t really be helped due to people bringing in luggage and chairs that’s bound to happen. There were plenty of towels and wash clothes! The location was perfect!! It was away from the crowd and traffic yet close to Walmart and dollar general. Overall the condo was clean!! We had a great vacation!!

Not what I expected

Upon arrival the unit had not been cleaned. The PM group did send someone out to clean after we called it in but there was still mildew in the master bath shower. We also reported 3 days in a row that the master bath toilet was running and needed to be fixed as well as the master sink was clogged. For 3 days we had to turn off the water to the toilet at night and had to look at water in the sink. When I requested someone call me over the cleanliness of the unit no call was ever received. I also reported that the one coffee maker was broke no one ever called or came out for that. I have stayed numerous times in this building in another unit with no issues however this unit and it’s management are a complete mess.
