When I checked in I was looking for a large bed rather than a set of twins. The desk clerk gave me an upgraded room, BUT I knew I had to change rooms, as it was right next to the elevator and invading the room was the repeated sound of the loud elevator mechanism. So given availability of bed size I was moved into the non-upgraded wing without coffeemaker, bathrobe. I also inquired as to the presence of an electronic kettle I'd seen in photos and was told that when they changed 'brands" those were no longer deployed. Climate control despite the presence of a device does not exist. I inquired. The room was set for heat AUTOMATICALLY after November 1. So the room had forced air heating which set the temperature at between 24.5C. I got instructions to turn the "climate control" device on the wall off, but found the housekeeping had turned it on the next day and the room was up to 26C. So I turned it off again and put a post-it over it with a message in Spanish to leave it off..Had to open the balcony door to get some fresh, cooler air in as the room still seemed to heat up even without the forced air. They really push their restaurant (which I consider chi-chi and overpriced) . I was not a taker. But my high rating on aspects of the experience is on the basis of comfort and cleanliness otherwise.
