We loved our 3 night stay at Hotel Basilica, we can only recommend it for a city break in Palma. The hotel itself is very well finished and kept very clean. The staff were all excellent, very attentive and helpful. We opted to include breakfast in our stay, this was again excellent with high quality food and drink and a large selection available. The hotel is located excellently, within walking distance of the entire old town, the cathedral and the beach. The only improvement that could be suggested is that we booked a double bed room but it was made up with two twin beds pushed together, this was changed without any issues into a double bed for the second night when we pointed this out to reception.

Wonderful hidden gem in the old city of Palma

My best friend and I did a girls’ trip to Mallorca, and we stayed at Hotel Basilica for 8 days. It was fantastic. The hotel itself is very charming with a lot of character and has modern amenities (AC, WiFi, pool). The rooftop pool offers a stunning view of 3 of the city’s beautiful cathedrals. It’s small, but we never felt crowded, and there are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas available. Our room was nice and spacious, especially for a European hotel. The mini bar is complementary and is refilled every 4 days. They have a pillow menu to try out ergonomic or cooling pillows to get your perfect night of sleep. The hotel has a great location that’s within a 7-15 minute walk of nearly everything in Palma. It’s on a side street so it’s nice and quiet. The front desk and breakfast room staff were wonderful. They welcomed us with champagne, were very friendly and accommodating, and super helpful. The daily breakfast buffet was extensive—pastries, fresh fruit, cheeses & cold cuts, plus all hot breakfast items including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes. They will also do a made-to-order omelette or crepe. Overall, I highly, highly recommend Hotel Basilica. It was a fantastic stay in the heart of the old city of Palma.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Basilica in Palma. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. We loved our room - the bed and pillows were wonderfully soft, and it was such a nice touch to find welcome champagne and chocolates waiting for us. The buffet breakfast was excellent, and the views from the top of the hotel were absolutely stunning. Everything about our stay made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Palma!

Hotel Basilica was the perfect place for our relaxing week break in Palma. Central and walkable to everything which was easy for exploring the city, catching the train to Sóller and visiting the beach. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were super comfortable and really clean. The pool area is also really nice and a great place to chill in the day and watch the sunset in the evening. Overall the hotel was quiet and we would definitely come stay again.

Tranquil stay in heart of old town Palma

It was a lovely stay at this hotel in the old town. Quietly convenient and easily accessible to all the main attractions within the old town of Palma and beach. Only wish the air conditioning system was a little stronger for the hot weather!
