I loved the pool parties. So many people over Memorial weekend that there weren’t any chairs left by 11am. We were there on vacation leaving our baby for the first time with Grama and we were exhausted. So that was no what we were expecting. The bed was very comfortable to both my husband and I so that was a boon. The girl at the front desk would sit on a tiiiiinnny chair so when people would line up they couldn’t see her there and she could have cared less just ignoring all the clients. The other people that worked there seemed eager to help, except for the one girl who was always there leaving a very heavy cloud of poor customer service behind despite the other desk people. The restaurant is good but you might wait an hour and fifteen minutes for your breakfast. We got very Hangry! There is a Starbucks across the street in the Ralph’s grocery store so you’re not entirely stuck going there but that place doesn’t really feel like vacation. Overall we relaxed and had a good time but they were just too packed.

Beautiful colors, so much fun! Staff was fantastic as well.

The rooms are basic, but the bed and linens are very comfortable. The staff was accommodating. I enjoyed the diversity the property attracts, and it's pet friendly!! I did not enjoy the crowded pool. Apparently, the pool is open to the public and it host DJ parties for where the public can attend as well. That meant the pool was not private to guest only. I don't like crowds on vacation.

The Saguaro was a real disappointment. First, it's not cheap. As a result one expects it to be pretty nice. The positives - the pool and courtyard are pleasant enough (minus the piped in music). Its in-town and relatively close to amenities. If you're a 20 or 30 something hipster you may like the vibe. The negatives - the hotel is not well maintained. The heat in my room did not work and in late December it was needed. For 6 days a door to the parking lot remained broken. In general from the restaurant to the housekeeping staff - the service is hit or miss. Some employees work to provide good service while others could seemingly care less. Very inconsistent and generally mediocre service. The rooms are budget hotel rooms with bright colors and nothing else. My room did not even have a reading lamp. Very basic, cheap rooms that have been given a splash of bright colors to cover up many flaws. Finally, if you're a hipster (e.g. Portlandia) you might love this place. If not, you may be very disappointed by the lame service, lacking room amenities as well as a few features such as the AWFUL music that is piped in to the common areas day and night. Never again!

Cute and has decent pool but room was very plain - more like a motel Food from main pool and room service was lousy and expensive And it’s a good 10 minute drive to main center of Palm Springs so not great location Mandatory Resort fee too high as well for locTion Spa has no locker room amentities but good service

I just wouldn't recommend this place. I really liked the staff, not the management (they had a massive party which had my room pounding from bass - my window was literally rattling and

Loved the atmosphere of the hotel but have some complaints. The AC broke at 11:00pm so the room was getting hot and they didn’t offer to switch my room. They only took off the resort fee which is alright. The pool was extremely green and the pool man was pouring a blue liquid while all of us were still in the pool. That was questionable but still had a good time. Some Pros are the huge amount of free parking right next to your rooms, staff was friendly, and El Hefe was good. Overall, just some complaints. I recommend not touching the AC unit at all in case it breaks.

Nice party hotel for young people, wouldn’t recommend for families or couples looking to getaway. Unfortunately, we would never return due to 2 roaches in our room

The room was clean but needed a new paint job as there were lots of scuffs on the walls. The A/C wall unit rattled and needed to be cleaned out. We could also hear everyone walking above us, in the corridor, and talking in adjoining rooms. Sleep was not great. We did not take advantage of the yoga, spa services, or rental bikes but they all looked good. The highlight of the place is the pool area which is very nice with lots of seating options plus a bar. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is definitely focused on attracting a younger crowd and families with young children.

The outside seems nice and bright. Mid-century modern colors. Then you go to your room and it was literally a maze. Had to walk around a pa;;et left on the ground with 3 boxes on it. It was there for hours. Right in front of an open door where they do laundry. No workers seemed to care that people couldn't get around with luggage. I know it was there til at least 8:45pm. I had to call and ask them to move it before someone tripped over it. Then you walk into a short dark corner hallway that was piled with trash 6' high. The door does not say "to elevator" or anything of the sort. Which is why I couldn't find it. You go into the door, and it is a dark hallway inside. The elevator door is to the left. Once to the 2nd floor, the sign says to go right to my room number. So I turn right there is maybe one or 2 hotel room doors then a non-descript door. I went out it there to an outside hallway along the room fronts like you get at a motel 6 or something. It is a common walkway on the outside of the building where you walk along the room fronts. Once inside the room...The seating area is the Mexican furniture with leather top and the sides of chairs and bases are woven wood. The walls are painted mid-century modern so it doesn't match. The table that the tv sat on looked like a cheap garage sale dresser painted neon green. The bed was nice, I can say that. Just not what I expected. restaurant inside pricey too.

I'm sure this hotel would have been fun if I was in for a hip, happening time. But, I was looking for some quiet time around the pool. This is the place for bachelorette weekends or hook-ups. There was a great DJ at the pool, so if you want a party atmosphere then this is the place. Lots of amenities outside from hammocks to late night movies to the DJ at the pool. The hotel itself is old but refurbished and updated around 2012. It's dog friendly if you're interested in that.

The rooms have paper thin walls. We were awoken at 2:45am by the people next door coming back from the clubs. They were not just talking with in their drunk voices but they were playing very loud music when they got in to the room. This went on for a good 20 minutes until I finally called the front desk and they had security come to the room to have them turn off the music. Unfortunately, the people in the room were still keyed up from their night out and talked very loudly for another 20 minutes. The place was night, but they were obviously more interested in catering to a younger hipster crowd then to people who want to get a good nights sleep.

We arrived at 4:30 and check in was supposed to be at 4. They said our room wasn't ready and would have to wait an hour. At 6 they finally called us to let us know our room was ready. We were already in the hotel so we walked straight to the front desk. They let us know that for some reason our room was given away 3 times so now we will not have our room that we paid extra for to have a room with a patio by the pool. We had made these reservation 3 months in advance. After trying to give us a basic room on the third floor and it now being almost 7 we demanded to see a manager. They upgraded us to a suite which was nice but very far from the pool as we were hoping. Overall the stay was not as we were hoping. The pool area was small and the hotel was not as clean.

Came for a girls' weekend to relax and enjoy the spa amenities, pool. Check-in was quick, though the employees did not make eye contact and were a little brusque. The room was clean and colorful, just like the rest of the hotel. Amenities were OK, some extra towels, no robes. Pool area was crowded and the towels are a free-for-all, so we waited for them to be replenished. Balcony of room was nice, we had a corner room and if you are big on privacy, it does not have a lot. Balcony glass faces other rooms and you are very close to others' balconies (within earshot). Biggest downside is that the ice machines located on each floor were inoperable after the late morning/afternoon. The only time the machine had ice was around 9am. May be due to heat. Spa amenities are nice and staff was extremely courteous. Hotel restaurant is hip and happening but on the smaller side so it does get crowded. Overall, for the price, it was an OK stay.

Great pool area. It closes at midnight and the areas were clean.

Hello coneisa, Happy to here the feedback from you and of course happy to here our staff were so accommodating. We do offer outside limited passes for the day of events on weekends but a majority of our common areas including pool are still occupied by in house guest. Also DJ's on weekend at our pool are only during the April though July period. During the week days we do not offer any programming at the pool. Thank you once more for your feedback and for staying with us.
