My daughter's shoes were stolen the first and only night we stayed at the hotel. Service at the restaurant was poor. Rooms are dated, furniture is old and uncomfortable.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Gym was actually better than I expected. These two things made me not to change the hotel. The hotel and rooms don’t feel clean at all. Poor service.

Overpriced & Worn Down—Only Stay If You Have To

The Saguaro is only worth staying at if everything else is booked. While the colorful balconies and pool make for Instagram-worthy photos, the hotel itself is in desperate need of an upgrade. The interior isn't particularly attractive, and I found stray hairs in the bathroom—definitely not the level of cleanliness you'd expect for the price. Location-wise, it's not very close to downtown, and with Uber prices rising, getting around adds up quickly. On top of that, the hotel tacks on hidden resort fees, making it feel even more overpriced. That said, the pool and restaurant are decent, but overall, you’re paying more for mid-century aesthetics than actual quality.

This property is colorful and beautiful, however, the room was disappointing. The linoleum in the restroom is old, cheap, and chipped. The shower had mold/mildew near the drain. Our neighbors and other guests on the property were loud well into 3 a.m. Overall, I was disappointed with my stay.

Very expensive hotel for a motel looking vibe, my next door neighbor were smoking weed all day, a/c didn’t work and it was very noisy. upstairs room I could hear everything, sensitive walls. Room looked all and smell. I was very disappointed. specially for paying $640 for 2 nights, horrible

The property was close to downtown shops and restaurants. Although not walkable, the hotel has bikes available. The room was clean; however the exterior walkways and interior hallways were often dirty. The overall appearance of the property is fair. On Saturday afternoon, a DJ plays at the pool, so don’t expect a quiet afternoon at the pool or in your room.

cute hotel, love the retro vibe! Definitely needs some sprucing up. Lounge chairs around pool are beat up. Rooms are comfy, but could use a good detailed cleaning. All of that said, I would stay there again.

The lobby is very cute and kitchy. The service at the bar was very good as were the drinks. The room was huge but lacking alot of things. No desk or sofa just a small table with very uncomfortable chairs. The fridge was stocked and there were snacks but no list of prices. Too few outlets and loose outlets made recharging phones a challenge. Also no clock or radio which would have been nice.

The property was in a safe and quiet neighbourhood with ample parking. However, the property itself is quite dated and the rooms could use a renovation/refresh specifically the carpeted floors and bathrooms. During our 4 night stay we only received one cleaning service. We had to request additional towels twice and beds were not made nor were garbage emptied. Front desk indicated they were short staffed which was unacceptable as an excuse when paying $1800 for a stay. Furthermore, the pool ran out of towels so we had to use our bath towels and robes if we wanted to visit the pool otherwise wait over an hour or two for towels to be replenished. Our key cards were unreliable. We got locked out of our room twice as they did not swipe and needed to wait around for new keys in the hall. Overall safe stay, however the photos are deceiving and the rooms are in need of a refresh and the property would benefit from more reliable staff for the price they charge you to stay here.
