Pleasant surprise from a Marriott snob

Had an overnight stay with my kids and I was pleasantly surprised. We stayed in room 307, first thing I noticed was the carpet was clean as if a new one had been put in not long ago. The sofa cushions could have been cleaner but that's my only complaint because the sofa bed portion was fine. It was nice to have a warm breakfast tho continental bites were offered as well. ...And the staff were all so friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed being at this hotel. Had a friendly check in late at night with Karen. The room is very nicely furnished and comfortable. Very comfortable mattress. Good breakfast with a couple of hot items (scrambled eggs & bacon, potatoes would be a great addition!). I had asked for the quietest part of the building and they made sure I had that. Staff were helpful about some food I needed to leave in a refrigerator for a few hours, after I checked out. And a very good rate on Expedia! One thing to note - everything in the room is designed for tall people. I am short, a little over 5 feet. The bed is so high, a couple of steps next to it would make sense. I had to bend over it, throw over a leg and then struggle to climb on top of it. The towel hook in the bathroom is an inch or so from the top of the door, almost 7 feet high! Impossible to reach with actually jumping in the air, lol. Same for the shower head, which would have been nice to reach, to choose the type of water flow. But with the comfort of the bed, the attractive room and lobby and building, the helpful staff, decent breakfast: it all made for a very pleasant stay, and I would welcome the chance to return.

The location was convenient and they had rooms to accommodate our family of 6 which was great. The room itself is adequate but small (like move the desk chair to be able to convert the couch to a bed small) and the footstools need to be replaced as the fake leather is chipping off. BUT the beds were comfortable, AC ran cold, and the kids enjoyed the pool after a day of travel.
