Marriott's Desert Springs Villas II

House keeping was very spotty. Only came in to change towels, make beds and collect trash. No cleaning. Cut off from most amenities in the villas .

The room is clean and there are sufficient activities to keep the kids busy. The addition of the magic show was a great idea.

Very relaxing & comfort. Will return this year or next year

This complex is a great place to stay. The only issue I had with this visit was I asked for a room overlooking the golf course. When I checked in I asked if the room had a golf course view and the front desk person said yes. I get to my room and it does not have a golf course view. It had a parking lot view. the other hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Another minor issue was parking. It was crowded so parking was a little hard to find by your room.

Had a wonderful Palm Springs experience. Went in aerial tramway, went to the outlet malls, had some great meals. Hard to come home!!

Check in is 4pm and check out was at 10am. Main large pool was dirty so stick to the pool close to your villla. Pools closed early at 10pm. Our room smelled funky. They charge to switch out your towels

This hotel is far from everything. The rooms are tiny, yet they are advertised as suites. There is no daily cleaning service which was a surprise. The staff said we had to request it during booking. Which century is this? In a world-known resort and destination? Never stay there.

Hotel was decent, kind of small for the one room villas though. Unfortunately the neighbors were awfully noisy, yelling n screaming kids at 1 am, need better sound proofing.

We've stayed here many times and are very pleased with every stay. We will defiantly return to stay again.

We've stayed here many times and every time it meets our expectations. It is very family friendly and the staff are very professional and curteous. We will deffinetly be staying here again.

My best friend and I took our boys for a little getaway. Their age range from 5-7years old and the Marriott Villas made it really easy to entertain them. From a fun swimming pool, awesome spacious room, to a shuttle to take a boat ride at the JW Marriott we all had a blast. This hotel came through on every level I needed it to.

It is a beautiful golf resort, but the room is a little bit old

I didn't really use this stay as a resort vacation, which is what the Villas are primarily designed for. I stayed here while attending a conference at the Desert Springs resort hotel next door. There was easy access to the hotel while the villas provide more space, free parking and a small kitchen for breakfast at a lower price. I would use this option again. I stayed in a studio room but the Villas have multi-room options that would probably be great for a family.

Friendly at check in. Room great & very clean. Only negative was room cleaning was not great, did not empty trash in bathroom, did not clean bathroom sink & mirror, did not change sheets even though we were told they would. Outside table & chairs very dirty, we had to clean them ourselves. Pool great!

We've stayed here many times before and as always everything was fantastic. Will be coming back in August.

Fantastic resort and accommodations! I recommend it!

What we wanted was a good off-season rate at Desert Springs and found it. The Villas have been refurbished and are very comfortable. We had to go to the front desk to "borrow" a blu-ray player but other than that the room was clean and comfortable. I'd go back.

The hotel is very nice and quite but i don't agree with the hours :the check in is at 4 pm andthe Check out is at 10 am.for $ 400 .

The staff was rude. Our bathtub didnt hold water. The cupboards were broken off. Our neighbors were loud until after midnight. We called the hotel to ask if we could change rooms they said no there were no rooms. They sent security out, after 45mins they showed up and asked the people next to us to quiet down which they still didnt. Next day the neighbors were still loud, to loud to even watch TV. I called again and asked to change rooms because of the noise, and they said they were going to charge me and it didnt matter that it was because of the noise. Again, staff was rude and not helpful, security was terrible. Not worth the 400-500 I paid for these rooms and will never stay there again.

We have stayed at the Marriott Villas before. Over all they do a good job. My wife likes Marriott sheets, mattress and pillows-they did not disappoint. The room was clean and stocked with items we needed. (openers, bowls, wine glasses). We had a balcony with a view of golf course and mountains. We did not eat or play golf at Marriott this trip so I can not rate them....we weren't around the facilities much at all. However, when we were there we found the desk staff very disappointing. No personality, happiness or smiles to be found....they actually seemed "bothered' by our being there?? And, we had an unusal situation on this visit. I had a piece of clothing taken from our room. There was no doubt, as this was my favorite fleece vest - it was in the room when we left, and not there when we returned-plain and simple. Upon checkout, I asked to speak to the manager. I explained the situation and said I was not going to make a big deal, or fill out a report, but I just wanted her to know so if others had he same problems then they could deal with it and fix it with their staff. ("if it were my hotel I would want to know") . To my surprise, she basically accussed me of "misplacing" it, and she seem to be bothered by my efforts to let her know- even though I had NO expectations of being reimbursed/compensated. It was my feeling she planned to do nothing with the information! One other small item I passed along to them is that the little market/deli/coffee place did not open until 8:00 saturday morning??...there were lots of guests standing around ready to start their morning and wondering how this could be on a beautiful warm saturday morning?? We usually get attention to detail with Marriott...but not this time!
