This is an excellent resort in a beautiful area of Palawan. The staff are very friendly, and the room was big and spacious. The beach here is beautiful and very clean. Water is warm and inviting. My only complaint was that it's a 90 minute ride from the airport. Other than that, we had many wonderful ...
Got sick along with my fiance and cancelled a trip a day before check out and stayed in our room a lot. Had staff ask to send for a doctor instead of going to hospital and they sent for the best doctor in the island. Had to ask for extension on check out w/o hassle on day of check out since we were ...
The hotel was very clean, the staff was very attentive and nice. You can walk to town in about 5 minutes, but we would usually take tricycle rides for 50 pesos each way. The street seems pretty busy, but everyone is very friendly around. The room was very spacious with two double beds - some people ...

This is a simple, family-run hotel on the outskirts of El Nido town. The atmosphere is cosy, and feels more like staying at someone's house. This was our second stop while we were in El Nido. We loved it here and would return in a heartbeat. The Filipino breakfast is simple and delicious, and for dinner you can request Filipino options or have Max (the Italian half of the proprietor couple) make you truly delicious authentic pizza. A few things to note. This hotel does not face the ocean. It is one of a cluster of hotels that are situated on the edge of El Nido town, and you will need to walk along an unpaved path to get to it. It is about a 10-minute walk away to the main beach and dock area. Bring a flashlight. However, the area is lively and busy, and there is a convenience store just a few steps away from Dragonfly. You can get rides on the hotel tricycle to and from town if you need it. And if you walk 10-minutes the other way, you will get to a quiet, beautiful beach area, including a secluded beach that it a little bit more of a trek to reach but truly worth it. Ask around for directions.
The last 900 meters coming to the entrance ,we were ready to turn around. The dirt road was nicnamed the abortion maker. Finally we reached paridise. From day one it got better with each day. Reasons for our lower stars were 1 was under renovation 2 gift shop under repairs 3 a/c needs updating 4 room needs minor repairs. The staff from bottom to top were the best. Always greeting us and helping out anyway we needed or anything else we wanted. Thanks for a Awesome vacation.
Got sick along with my fiance and cancelled a trip a day before check out and stayed in our room a lot. Had staff ask to send for a doctor instead of going to hospital and they sent for the best doctor in the island. Had to ask for extension on check out w/o hassle on day of check out since we were too sick tonleave on time as our fligjt is still at 4 pm. Overall the entire staff was very proffessional and helpfull. Inwould recommend this resort to everyone. My family whoneere from California had also stayed in this resort a few months back and had the same excellent experience . I give 10 stars for this resort!!!!
If you want a nice, quiet and peaceful stay you can stay at this hotel. It is a 10 minute boat ride away from the town proper. So yu have to plan ahead if you need something from the town like food, water, souvenirs etc. We were with my parents dring our stay, and they are really sensitive to heat, so when we realized that they don't have A/C during the day we were dissappointed (I didn't read the listing very well). We thought about moving to a difderent hotel because of this. The hotel is clean and beautiful. They have a sea water infinity swimming pool with the beach and mountains in front of you which is nice for picture taking. You have one round trip boat ride per day so make sure to plan ahead. There also take care of all of your tour needs, just ask one of the front desk people. They are very good at managing your trips. I also recommend ordering at their cafeteria its about 200 to 300 pesos per order, although most single orders can be good for 2 to 3 people. Their food was great in my opinion. Make sure to order ahead and provide time when you dine in. All in all, it was a pleasant stay. The only downside was No A/C during daytime and hard to go around the town if you're stuck in the island.
