stunning home with a magical view

A mama and baby deer were waiting in the driveway to welcome us. This is such a perfect home to explore Pagosa Springs. The neighborhood was peaceful and convenient, and the porch was the perfect place to read and relax. Communication was excellent.

Excellent Views

Great vacation property! The views cannot be beat-beautiful lake and towering mountains. Had just enough of everything you might need in kitchen. Comfortable bed. Simply, but nicely furnished. The town’s main internet provider had an outage while we there and the management company sent someone with a hotspot which allowed us to have internet for our entire stay. Without us even asking. Great customer service! Would definitely stay here again. Perfect for a couple or small family-

Great Views!

Great views of the lake/mountains in front and tall Ponderosa Pine forest in back - both provide peaceful places to unplug and relax! Very comfortable beds/pillows and clean sheets. It was nice we could park our car in the attached garage. 1st time to Pagosa Springs, but won't be our last - we'll be back for more R&R in the beautiful San Juan Mountains!

Relaxing and Comfortable

What a great location and you can't beat the view. The home was exactly as describe and while the photos on line are great, the place is even better in person. Everything was as expected, clean and welcoming. We had a great weekend and while it was our first time in Pagosa, it won't be our last. Thanks for making our stay so lovely.

This cabin is the perfect getaway for a quiet weekend away from town. If you're a fan of seeing wildlife in your yard, lakefront views its a perfect place. Definitely will be back

LaFave Pagosa Stay

Clean, quiet, and central location. There are a few items that the owner needs to address... Before getting to it, a bit of a disclaimer... I am a Construction Quality Control Engineer by trade, so while I and my family enjoyed our stay, I attempted to not "nit pick" but give honest feedback. first: floor slopes from center beam to the dining room corner. the vinyl plank flooring is cracking and appears to be "floating" more than it should. Cracks in the sheetrock on ceiling and walls, bedroom doors are not easy to open or open quietly. Back deck boards are cupping causing tripping hazards. Exterior light for back deck in operable Bathroom/laundry room light not in the room, needs to be accessed in the bedroom. Shower needs to be re-caulked. Other bathroom door needs a door stop (handle has impacted wall) and it appears that the side walls of the shower have water damage.

Beautiful property in a great location

I was very pleased with our stay. They provide everything you need at the property! Communication with the property owners was flawless! I would definitely stay here anytime I am down in Pagosa Springs. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic view

The views from the house are wonderful. The house is clean and comfortable and very well positioned to enjoy all that Pagosa Springs and Wolf Creek have to offer. I would recommend for couples and small families!

One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed!

The online pics were spot-on! The views of the lake and mountains from the balcony were beautiful. The interior was beautifully decorated and so comfortable. The deer family came down from the back woods every morning including the little fawns!

Relax

Family is very busy, needed to spend some quality time together and relax. We worked in several different activities, tubing, hiking, horseback riding and a lake day! We cooked breakfast and dinner daily so we got our downtime in. The cabin was great and the area was beautiful, we will definitely be back.

Our Review

The property is beautiful. We have stayed at this property several times over the last 15 years, bebore it was an iTrip Vacation home. It was extremely nice then and all of the updates that have been done are beautiful. I will say though that it now feels more like a hotel than a home (with the exception that I had to finish the laundry when I arrived, something we have never had to do at a VRBO). We drove by the house at 3:15 and no one was there and made the assumption that it was ready. I texted at 3:35 and asked if it was possible for us to check in a few minutes early. I didn't hear back until 3:53 so it really didnt' matter at that point since check in was supposed to be at 4:00. However, when we drove back by the property at 3:40 there was now a vehicle there (cleaning people). We drove up at 4:00 and they came out and apologized for not being done. Apparently the renters before us had 2 large dogs that they were having to clean up after (I thought this was a "no pets" rental). Limited items in the kitchen made cooking a little challenging, but we managed. Overall we had a very nice relaxing stay and I would recommend the house to others, but due to the amount of stairs we unfortunately will probably not be back. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home and I hope you found that we left it in perfect order upon our departure.

Nice Home

This is a very cozy modern home. Lots of space and had everything we needed for the week. The rental owners were very accommodating especially when we wanted to check in early and when we needed the driveway cleared of snow. Otherwise, we couldn’t have made it up the driveway because it is very steep. The only complaint we had was that the floor in the living room had not been mopped (sticky kool aid or candy), the tables hadn’t been wiped down and the master shower floor/walls weren’t very clean. Other than that, it was a very nice property that we would probably stay at again.
