this was a nice stay. we had a clean room, good bed, and a good breakfast, all at a great price. this is a good place to pull off the road, and just relax for a while.the price is really great. servive was just as good
We stayed over there last night. A kind size bed with very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very small pillows. My neck was hurting the next day from trying to sleep on the pillows. My husband couldn't sleep for the loud people. Doors slamming people walking like the floor coming from under them. $98.00 isn't cheap but the next time we will stay somewhere else. The only ice machine is on the main floor. A small travel size of mouth wash costing $2.00. That's awful. Smh! We had to shack the toilet to stop it from running. Long hairs all on the bed. Yuck Never again will we stay there. We will sleep in our vehicle before staying there.
I stayed here twice on my way to and from South Carolina. Each time, I found myself in a very, very small room. There's barely room to walk around if you bring your bags up. On the first stay, I noticed a lot of activity at the back door, as well as, a dark blue car that was running with the radio pumping out very loud rap music. This car continued to sit in that spot for hours. I went to bed and it was still there. Imagine my surprise, when on the second trip (6 days later), that very same car, doing the very same thing, was again sitting at the back door. I began to wonder if this was the local dope dealer, you know?!?! On this trip, I also had to deal with very loud neighbors across the hall that for some reason had their door propped open. Due to the tiny room, horrible shower head, bad breakfast, and obvious drug activity, I do not recommend this hotel.
My husband and I have stayed at this hotel many times and have never had a problem before. Our last visit on 06 Jan was the exception. After traveling 600 plus miles we checked in and after sitting on the bed a roach ran out on the sheets. Needless to say I was through. I called down to the desk. The person working tried to explain that the rooms had been sprayed that day offered to move us to a different room or give us a discount price. My husband was tired and said take the discount. The next morning upon checking out the next person on duty said he was not aware of anything and would let the bug people know who would be coming to spray that day about the problem and offered me $5.00 off I declined. He then said $10.00 off was the best he could do. I lost sleep that night but they have lost a customer as that area is the half way point for us traveling thru that area and there are several hotels in the same area.
We have stayed at this hotel several times en route to other destinations. The rooms are compact but very comfortable for the 2 of us. Our room was spotlessly clean. The service was excellent and the people at the front desk were friendly & helpful. There are a number of restaurants in the area. Nearby shopping includes a complex with the usual Best Buy, etc. and there are interesting local shops as well. It's a short drive to the beautiful Cheaha State Park. It's a good value!
Great stay for the right price. Very updated hotel. Check-in was quick. Very luxurious beds and linens. Our room was exceptionally clean. Breakfast was good and filling. Hotel staff was very accommodating. This hotel is very centrally located. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.
This was a good stay while in town for an event at Jacksonville State. When there was a problem with a rowdy guest, the staff took care immediately of it. Breakfast was very good. I just wish there was more variety with their proteins like bacon instead of sausage. My only complaint was there was not an ice machine on every floor.
We needed a " pet friendly" hotel and they are not always easy to find. We took my parents on a road trip and their dog had to come along.. This was our first experience with a SLeep Inn. Everything was clean, comfortable and staff was professional. Best value in the area.
I have to first say that the room was exceptionally clean, well priced and the bed was comfortable. I had a room just above the lobby so it was a bit noisy but not overwhelming. The issue I really had was the lady that checked me in and then the night clerk. When I walked in, there were a couple people in front of me and the woman was just frazzled and overwhelmed. Ok, I get that we all have rough times. When I got to the desk she went on and on about how busy she was and I had to hear a little bit about every guest she had. I'm sorry but it was eight pm I'd been working all day and I could really care less about these folks. Then she really got going! I actually counted, She called me "sweetie" eleven times, "darlin'" four and "baby" six all in a matter of ten minutes which seemed like an eternity of her "spooning" over me. I'm not your sweetie,in not your darlin and I'm not your baby. Let's try to be professional and get guests that really don't appreciate being called baby checked in! Now, I smoke and it's a non smoking hotel. I get that too. I'm a very conciencious smoker. I woke up about three because someone slammed a door, Walked downstairs and had a smoke, the guy with a pony tail (on my way back in) told me I wasn't allowed to smoke outside the door! It was freaking three am no one at all was outside and..there were a dozen butts right where I was standing on the ground. Again, I'm a conciderate smoker so I had put my smoke out and put it in the can. He had to see the dozens of buts on the ground. I would have thought he'd have aporeciated that! For as nice as the hotel is, they certainly could improve on the professionalism of their help. It was so bad and I was so uncomfortable being "spooned" over I now stay at the LaQuitna next door. Fast, friendly and professional.
Passing through driving across the country on a late night. Check in was easy and gladly accepted the coupon I found in the travel book. Room was very clean, WiFi got strong signal only complain was the sink won't drain, very inconvenient seeing the water accumulate while brushing my teeth. Staff on duty at checkout could have been friendlier.
