The Westin is very well located in the blue mountain village. Access to the village, it was very easy. The room was clean, but the quality has gone downhill, tremendously. When we arrived to our room, it smelled very musty. No air conditioning was running so that could be the problem. When we went to finally go to bed after a long day. We noticed that the sheets were torn right near the corner. It's like the sheets were way too thin and worn out.
This should have easily been seen by the the person making the bed. But they obviously ignored it.
I use the app to make a comment about the sheet and to ask for it, to be replaced in the morning. The next morning when we went to have a shower, the bath towels had a weird smell and were small. Not hand towel small, a little bigger. We asked the front desk to replace the sheet and replace the towels with bigger ones, which they did. When we arrived back to our room after our day out, I checked the sheets and the fitted sheet was ripped a little bit on the opposite side in a different area. Again, the sheets were very thin, and it looks like just worn out. This is not what I would have expected of a marriott hotel. I expected to be asked how my stay was during checkout, but I was not asked anything about my stay. And since I was so disappointed, amd will not stay at this hotel again. I decided not to say anything, but that I would leave a negative review. I would upload pictures, but it doesn't look like I can.
