Dirty and smelled like smoke
Felt like a property in transition.
No ice. Air conditioner was broken.
Loved this hotel!! It was so clean and updated and the staff were super friendly. The TV was amazing (very large and great picture) and had a wide variety of Christian station which I loved. Super impressed. 5 stars for sure!!
The gal working the front desk for the whole week that i stayed here was nice and gave good customer service.! Unfortunately there is no pool here , the room I was in had no Microwave or fridge. They also only served breakfast one morning out of 7, although the gal at the desk whom i mentioned earlier was very nice to at least offer me cereal on one of the days after I had asked her why there had been no breakfast when I came out twice that morning counting on a bite to eat since I had no fridge or microwave in my room. They also turned off the juice machine, possibly due to me drinking it a few times a day. But what was I to do when I had no fridge to keep anything in and they served no breakfast which they advertise as part of the amenities that came along with the rate of the room so I don't see anything wrong with guests being allowed to drink the juice as it was the only cold drink I could get in the hotel without purchasing from the vending machine. I did not find a water dispenser on the property nor could I find an ice bucket when I considered buying drinks or snacks at the store and wanted to improvise a way to keep it cool.
I Want to check in more early than date post and i will pay more money for that ..she say not
Friendly greeting upon entering. Very comfortable bed. simple but adequate breakfast choices. A great place to stop and catch some sleep for a night.
I am an older woman with a foot injury. When I arrived, I learned that my room was on the 2nd floor and there was no elevator. I thought maybe the front desk person would offer help with my suitcase. Nope. My room had a chemical smell. The air conditioning did not work well and I ended up just opening the window. One day I received no maid service at all and on another day I received some linens but the bed was not made. I would not stay there again. I saw quite a few budget hotels in the area. Surely some of them are better.
Boring unattractive place with little to offer. Room was spartan at best. Mold in bathroom particularly dismaying. No landscaping. on a major thoroughfare but nothing of interest anywhere close to walk to. Northfield is such a lovely town, this place not so much...price was high, especially considering that there were probably 100 empty rooms.
Glad the weather was warm. Had to leave the window open for the two days I stayed due to the strong odor in the room. The beds were good. The price was decent, but the smell was terrible.
Very stark hotel. Outdated decor and facilities. They should charge less for what you get.
Check in was quick. And when I first walked in a thought, this place has a weird odor. But, didn't think anymore about it until I got into my room and same smell was there; musty, a bit of a pet odor. The room was a nice size, had cable TV, a fridge, and microwave. Nice recliner. However, the bed was so uncomfortable and covered with a dirty cream colored quilt. The other reviews online made me think I was getting a great deal for my money, however, I will not choose to stay here again. MAJOR updates and cleaning are needed. I just felt dirty the whole time. My main concern was that my room did not lock on it's own when I exited. I had to finagle the door and swipe my key a few times for the door to lock. Shouldn't that be automatic?!
Nothing fancy, clean, basic hotel room. Nice to have both microwave and small cube refrigerator in our hotel room. Hard water/rust stains on outside of the building from the room air conditioning units was slightly off putting.
its what you expect for $79.00 a night it was clean and breakfest was ok if you just need to be inroom to sleep and shower it was fine
Our room was not very clean and the bedding, etc. was tired. Although a basic motel in terms of price, I have stayed at better motel 6s.
Clean rooms, thin walls (could hear people in other rooms).
