Take an adventure to this eclectic loft nestled in the heart of “The City of Bridges.” Here you’ll find a unique and bubbly styled space, stocked with coffee & tea, a refreshing work area, and good vibes. Nothing beats a nearby river walk and an easy Iowa get-a-way.
The space
The Blue Fern Hotel is a completely renovated one-bedroom apartment by high school sweethearts Bryce and Brielle with a goal to beautify Ottumwa.
This space is fitted with 1 queen-sized bed and 1 futon as well as a washer and dryer located in the entryway of the apartment. It also has a kitchen which includes a stove, oven, full-size fridge, dishware, pots and pans. The bathroom has a full bath/shower. This space is air-conditioned and heated, both of which the guest have full control of.
Off-road parking is available on our half circle driveway. This loft apartment is located above a garage, so this space is not handicap accessible as there are steep stairs that must be taken to access the apartment, as well as a few additional stairs up to the bedroom.(Please note the steep stairs for your own and your parties physical needs.)

Blue Fern and Red Fern worked out great!!
Plenty of room for us. Easy to get to. Enjoyed getting together with family and having a place to meet that held everyone comfortably. We'll be back!
