I called five times with no answer. During check-in, the employee said he'd responded to my message about the calls. Unfortunately, I was driving at the time and didn't see his reply.
Navigating to the room was a bit of a challenge. It was difficult to see the building and room numbers from the car. I found the location to be quite safe and quiet.
Upon entering the room, I noticed the window had blinds but no curtains. This was a concern because it was possible for people to see into the room. From the outside, you could easily see the floor and people's silhouettes. If you got close enough to the window, cab see through the slits in the blinds. I was worried about this privacy issue.
The room had a king-size bed with two sheets and a thin blanket in between, but no comforter or duvet. I prefer a blanket with some weight, so I found the bedding uncomfortable, even though the mattress itself was fine. Had difficulty sleeping because the room wasn't dark due to the lack of a curtain on the window. The towels and washcloths were also cheap and flimsy.
The room was clean, the air conditioning was on, and the shower had plenty of hot water.
Overall, this motel is a mixed bag. I wouldn't recommend it, but I also wouldn't tell someone to avoid it. Use bwst judgement.
