6/10 Okay

Liked: Communication
It's fine. The location is mediocre. The place itself is... usable. Living room table was broken. Beds are too soft. Paint was scratched all over the house. Linens were old. Floor was dirty. Tub in master bath was cracked. Everything had an "old lady" smell. Neighbors kept giving us dirty looks when we would come or go. Smoke detector was broken and beeping. Replaced the battery, but that didn't work. Host (or whoever answers messages on VRBO app) was responsive.

I booked a stay several weeks before I arrived. While trying to check in, the owner stated that he did not have me scheduled. This was on the 4th of July, with 10 other family members. I did receive a refund but we had to find other accommodation on a major holiday!
