Our stay had both positives and drawbacks. The home was very spacious, allowing each family member their own room and bathroom (except the kids sharing one). It was clean on arrival, and the heated pool was a big hit—my son used it every morning despite the cool weather. The common area had plenty of seating for family time, and the kids loved the room decor.On the downside, communication was often delayed, with slow responses and the host noting they were “closed on Sundays,” which was frustrating during an active stay. While replies were thorough when received, the delays were noticeable compared to other vacation homes we’ve stayed in. Additionally, although towels and starter items were advertised, there was no hand soap, washcloths, or basic cleaning supplies, requiring a gravoery store run and about 75 in extra expenses. For a large home and a five-night stay, better-stocked basics would have been appreciated. The bathrooms were also not all equipped with mats which was not safe for my older family members. The towels were clean but had visible stains on them. The location was not as central as we imagined and dealt with a lot of traffic (I’m sure the holidays played into this factor) All in all, the house was fine but it was not like stays we have experienced. Small adjustments and considerations to make our stay more comfortable would make us want to return.
