Overall we were very happy with our accommodations. Unfortunately the check in process was so horrible I will not book here again. We arrived around 10:35pm and we were in line to check in at 10:40, after a long day at Epcot. We did not get to our room until 12:30am. We were told that housekeeping was still working on our room. Judging by the amount of couples and families waiting in the lobby, and the conversations I overheard, our reservation was not the only one with an issue. I booked a studio but when we arrived at our room it was a very nice 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa. Definitely an upgrade but with no explanation. And definitely not complaining about the upgrade, but I thought it odd that the employee who finally gave me our keys, didn’t say one word about the upgrade. It sounds strange to complain about how long the check in process was when I got a great upgrade but after 10 hours at Epcot (and a late arrival to Florida the night before), I didn’t want to wait two hours to get to my room. Again, no complaints about the resort or the staff (other than the poor excuse that house keeping was still getting our room ready at 10:45pm, when check in is at 3:00 pm). Also, the wifi was awful if that is of importance to you.
